This is going to be quite a long post and I would appreciate any help that I can get from people on here. iCloud support has been quite unhelpful, but I purposely created an ACC for Reddit to see if anyone has ever encountered this.

Basically, a few days ago I changed my passcode on my iPhone from NUMBERS to LETTERS. This is important. FROM NUMBERS TO LETTERS. However, as I went to check my password (if it works, knowing I still have touch ID, lol that was a mistake) I realized my keyboard did not change. So, I had a password full in letters, yet to enter my phone I had to put in a set of numbers -- KEEP IN MIND, my passcode was full letters and I just changed it. IMPORTANT: My keyboard DID NOT change. It didn't fucking changed form pinpad numbers to letters (regular keyboard). \Also, under the pinpad numbers there are letters so if anyone know how to type letters through pinpad please let me know. Thinking I still have my touch ID, I just used my fingerprint. It did not go through which if you ever had an iPhone you know if your touch ID doesn't work a couple of tries after, it will require a passcode. And well, how do I enter a passcode full of letters if I only have a pinpad. Well, I tried entering my passcode before the change - maybe it was a bug. Nope, nothing. After trying multiple variations and options, I got locked. One minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, and so on. Up until, I got a white screen - which we know what means.

I got a white screen saying press home to recover. At that point, my body filled with fear since that phone wasn't backed up since December bc I downgraded storage since I couldn't afford paying 10 bucks a month anymore and all the notes & pictures weren't synced. I had about 20,000+ new memories, some of the best times of my life fucking ever, some of the most valuable notes ever written on that damn phone -- and I am not ready to loose it. I swear. They are not backed up on iCloud at all, only up to December. I don't give a shit about contacts, sm or any of that. Notes & Photos are my 1 priority.

So, pressing the home button was a nightmare. I pressed it, thinking my phone will be wiped clean. And, nope. So essentially what it did was is I got a white screen saying phone couldn't be backed up from backup which I assume what it wanted to do was to recover the phone from a backup. I attached a picture if anyone wants to see it.

From there, I just left the phone with no use. I was so frightened to even do shit bc of how much valuable memories I have on there. I contacted a friend who specializes in iCloud stuff and they said to contact the iCloud support. He mentioned they could somehow unlock the phone distantly (?). Left me confused there, but since I am not pro in this I trusted his words.

There it goes - I contacted the support, explained my situation. The person said to download iTunes, use a USB cable to connect the phone - press volume keys and home - and my phone should show up on the iTunes app and I am supposed to click update and the screen should clear up and get the passcode screen or whatever. Of course, my ass panicked, bought a brand new (not apple tho) cable to ensure the USB is not a problem. Downloaded the app, did everything - nothing happened. So, I just decided to click the volume keys n home which had even a better effect - keep in mind I am still on the white screen.

Well, the phone turned off, and then I turned it on with my background, my mobile provider, battery, my reminders and everything as it was left when I got blocked. I have now a screen saying Enter Passcode, Touch ID requires a passcode yada yada - as a norm if your face id or touch id didn't go through. I tried entering multiple passcodes, variations, and every single time I would get sent to the white screen saying press home to recover which later on - every single time required a passcode TWICE. So i pressed home, then I had to put in a passcode and then verify it. The thing is it literally did not give a shit if there were the same sets or no. Like the verification doesn't matter bc which ever passcode you put it still goes through. I was like what is this security lol.

Thinking this is somewhat good news, that I can at least see my background now and my phone is only unavailable for 15 minutes everytime for some weird reason. I messaged the support again. Umm, unfortunately, no help whatsoever. The lady said she can't help with this and sent me to a senior manager - whatever that is through a phone call.

I am on the phone with some guy - explained my situation all over again and said this is the first time someone every came with such an issue. I was quite frankly flabbergasted. How come over the decade of the company's nobody ever had such an issue. He said; most likely recovery is the only option. Losing everything since the Decemeber which is the last backup. Or I was also advised into some recovery programs. (If anyone knows some suggestions please go ahead and write them - free or no doesn't matter)
So that was quite unhelpful as they never encountered such a problem. Atp, I am very desperate if you couldn't tell.

After I was SA’d my mom said I was playing the victim. I begged her to make necessary phone calls because it was too much stress for me. She said “this is your thing not mine.” she also told me that I shouldn’t hate him and that if I don’t forgive and let go, I’ll be miserable my whole life. When I called to make a police report, the officer said it was all my fault for not saying “no” or “stop” to my own uncle groping me. That my uncle would reasonably believe it’s ok unless I said stop. So now “your case isn’t going anywhere” and he dropped it. He also blamed me for waiting 6 months to report. Hello everyone! I've been going through a lot of articles, where people have explained the state they're in, followed by the emptiness that's killing them from inside.
It's good that there are people speaking about it. Appreciate it, so that people with common problems can share this common platform to share their problems.
Let me tell you my side of the story now! There was a time in my life, where I was way too popular and enjoyed my social life like nobody's business. There were people who knew me, inspite of me not knowing them, neither personally nor generally. Had enjoyed my fame consciously and royally.
Had a lot of attractive suitors, had a girlfriend, all sorts of stuff done too! But then that started creating problems for me in the second half of my college life. People started creating controversies with me, had a lot of fights, lot of fallouts, was totally ignored. Things became very difficult for me, as I couldn't just digest it and that too all of a sudden. Wrapped up my stuff, exited the college and never went back to even see what was happening.
Also, complementary stuff - breakup, no contact situation with my friends, etccc.
Now, again after a year or two, I joined a social club, where I got a chance to socialize, make better friends than before, had mutual romantic suitors as well. Again, bam! Back to pavilion - Had a fight and I was been looked like a suspect and since then, nobody has ever even tried to voluntarily stay in touch or even tried to contact.
This phase kind of overlapped with lockdown, so yeah!
Also, lockdown contributed to a mental situation where people kind of understood that they are enough for themselves. People have started keeping their Circle small, lives extremely private due to the social media side effects and their only companion at the end of the day is their mobile phone.
Some more situations -

1. A female friend of mine suddenly stopped replying to my text messages for no good reason.
   
2. One of my best friends has blocked me from literally everywhere.
   
3. The love of my life has blocked me from everywhere.
   
4. I know a lot of people and vice versa, but in no contact situation with 95% of them.
   
5. The only friend I usually hang out with, adviced me to find some more friends, maybe out of concern or burden. Never even gave me priority over his other friends.
   

So yeah, but life still goes on! Wasn't easy for me to deal with all this, but definitely became more productive, more focussed towards career, became peaceful from inside, started having let go tendency, earning money, having a job and have decided to enjoy the small things in life.
I know I can be extremely successful and I realised this after the downfalls I had. I am very happy with my situation and I really dont give a fuck anymore.
I know I am going to die one day! Might as well love peacefully and royally.

I would like to speak on behalf of a friend and former peer coworker of 3 years about an upcoming convention called "PuchiCon" in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The owner of this convention has filed false Assault claims about our fellow employee and past Board Director of Outreach for the con itself, claiming he sexually abused her. The owner of this convention has included myself and the entire staff to take her side and involved us with false narratives. I don't understand how this is not going viral and not spoken of. He is in fear that if he speaks up about it to news outlets, people would not take his side as he had already found it impossible for fair legal representation in the courts and she has already tried to turn so many people against him including myself. I resigned my upper management role as * Redacted * after being with the convention 4 years. I cannot take this drama and I cannot understand how the staff and community isn't taking sides of an innocent well known and admired man. The owner followed my action of leave by harassing me, threatening to go to authorities and take legal action because I made a public post about my leave.
In short, the owner of puchicon pursued our peer employee with many sexual advances as well as emotional ones claiming she was unhappy and wanted to be with him and have more children with him... She had also disgustingly mentioned her own daughter sexually in nature laughing... "why can't I speak about her like this? others think it's funny". She was denied intercourse from our peer and decided to make false claims and lie under oath out of anger and vindictiveness. she had also been scamming people claiming to be a 501 3c non profit while the whole time operating as an LLC and bragging about the donations and annoyed she could not get grants fast enough so "its better as an llc anyway" once staff was made aware... also falsifying her website and sponsorship materials to claim we were sponsored by Cruncyroll viz media and many others while no such partnerships existed.
He won the court case with proof of her sexual advances towards him as well proving zero assault had been committed, but destroyed him financially by charging back payments made to him fraudulently causing him to lose his bank account and credit card.. yet she managed to convince staff and community that she won and he is a "dangerous" person, defaming his name and companies and isolating him from the cosplay and convention community. She claims her convention to be inclusive to mental health illnesses however exploits the neurodivergent community of free labor and intimidates them out of payment or fair compensation on top of trying to make false claims on our Demisexual, neurodivergent, ADHD, high functioning Autistic peer here who has a lot to lose as he is a respected and know Photographer in the Music industry and former DJ with many celebrity connections in the whole of the entertainment industry. She now has staff signing NDA's to be a part of volunteer staff so no one can speak of the cruelty and truth. But the stealing is starting to become worrying. She'll steal from me, our stepmom(38F), our dad(38M), I bet even her friends. Some weeks ago, I was spending the night and went to sleep with my purse near me. The next day, I went to the bathroom and saw my purse on the bathroom counter, which I thought was weird since I knew I didn't put it there. I looked in there, and low and behold, the small amount of money I've been saving up is GONE. I confront my sister since I heard her sneaking around late last night, asking her if she stole from me. She said no, that she'd never steal from me. But why was my purse suddenly in her bathroom, completely void of my money? I talked to our dad about it, who then talked to my sister. She kept up the lie for ten minutes straight, saying she swore she didn't take it. She started crying, so by then I was starting to wonder if maybe I didn't bring any money with me when I went to visit(I live with my mom but visit my dad frequently).
Finally, she admitted to stealing from me because she wanted to buy a shirt. But the shirt she wanted was something our dad already told her he'd buy for her. After she admitted that, our dad told her he wouldn't buy her that shirt, grounded and punished her, then told her to give me my money back. She did, but I was still really hurt because even though it wasn't a whole lot of money, I've been trying to save up since my mom and I have been homeless for a few months. We've been living in a motel ever since a natural disaster destroyed our house, so every little amount matters while we're trying to move into our new house(which we'll be in by Tuesday, thank goodness). My sister knows this, because I was on the phone with her and our dad when the tornadic storm was destroying my house while I was in it.
Then, my sister has been seeing her bio mom and other half-sister(no relation to me) since earlier this year. Her other sister(14F) isn't a good influence. She vapes and is regularly supplied with a pen by their mom. Also, they're never supervised by adults when my sister visits, as their bio mom works all day. My sister told me recently that her other sister taught her how to shoplift. My sister stole a vape and hid it under her bed. Not only that, but her other sister got her addicted to energy drinks, so my sister started stealing them from our stepmom.
She's also stolen money from our dad's credit card to buy over $200 worth of stuff on Roblox. I'm close to both my dad and my sister, and I know that our dad is actively hurt by my sister's constant lies. He and stepmom have punished her. She's grounded every other month, it seems, for either lying or not listening. We've all actively sat her down and tried to talk to her. Still, LIES. She's even got a counselor. I don't know what she tells the counselor though. I'm just sick of her not owning up for what she does, willingly dragging things on and on to get what she wants. We just had this meeting where one of the dispensers dropped a TC in a customer’s car. The customer came back to return it but the ASM made a huge deal out of it which I understand but they kept saying that if we lose any equipment they have to pay from their own pockets, basically insinuating that associates are costing them money. And their tone was pretty condescending which I would also understand if there was any truth to it. I mean if someone loses something and I have to pay for it, I would be mad too but if it is paid by the company then it should be considered as a cost of running the business. Regarding the hiring and promoting of individuals in these fields, while nepotism can certainly play a role, it is generally considered to be unethical and can even be illegal. Most professions have strict regulations and codes of conduct that prohibit the use of nepotism in hiring and promotion decisions. In many cases, nepotism can damage the reputation and integrity of the profession, and as such, is typically discouraged.
CONCLUSION: I guess what I set out to prove was that there is no magical no-pass line when it comes to Nepotism and Quid Pro Quo in the selection of who makes it to the top within any single industry. That question came up this morning while reading an article on the WEF and observing how ludicrous it seamed to me that anyone believes that any of them has any interest at heart beyond their own frenetic self-interests and that the sheer audacious postering of NGO's as decission-makers when it comes to matters of world economic, political and health issues.
I clearly had time on my hands this morning. Just wondering what your thoughts on Nepotism are and if the dumbing down of the American educational system had everything to do with those standards AI was so quick to point to were the main gate-keepers to positions like medicine, law and politics.

Hello friends, long story short:

Another Madden $70 re-skin is upon us, so let's take a moment to explore the history of all the people who have been featured on the cover of an pro football video game.
While the selection of the Madden cover athlete is now an event, there was a wild wild west period of football games from the 80s to the mid-2000s where anybody with a computer could and would build football games, with the selection of the cover being all over the place. Roger Craig was the first cover athlete in 1985 on NFL Challenge for MS-DOS. Madden's first game was in 1988, then by the mid-90s getting a cover athlete or spokesman for your football game was pretty standard.
I wanted to compile those games and covers based on this Wiki article (and a few that it was missing from that list) and see who was on the main cover of all of those games (some games were almost completely irrelevant, so I left them off this list). Some of these may have more alternates with other people, but I'll stick with the main cover.

Obviously QBs dominate here, but I didn't realize how little defensive players have been on football game covers (9%), with none being on a cover since Richard Sherman in 2014. I'd love to see more defensive players on the Madden cover. Who would be the most likely defensive guy in the near future? Aaron Donald, TJ Watt, Nick Bosa, Myles Garrett, or Sauce Gardner?

The Re-skins/Commanders?, Jags, Panthers, and Bills have appeared on a cover but never with an athlete as the lead or with a real person. Only the Texans have never appeared at all on the cover of any football video game. I'd say the Bills are most likely to get one next (Josh Allen), then the Jags (Trevor Lawrence), then the Panthers/Texans if either hits a home run with Young or Stroud. The Commanders have a long road ahead to getting a feature cover athlete, unless you ask Sam Howell who thinks he should be this year's Madden cover athlete.

Most Prolific Cover People

Kordell Stewart, Daunte Culpepper, and Donovan McNabb (and possibly Lamar Jackson, still too early for him) are the only players with multiple appearances that are either not or are unlikely to make the Hall of Fame. McNabb is the only guy to appear in multiple covers in the same year. Also of note, 7 athletes were on a cover without ever making a pro bowl in their careers: Brad Muster, Pat Terrell, Gordon Laro, Chris Zorich, Albert Fontenot, William Floyd, and Peyton Hillis (Hillis was the only one to be the primary cover athlete).
I'll list all the games and their respective covers by their era below. I'll also attach some of my favorite covers from each era. If the cover person was a Hall of Famer, I'll mark them with a ^\). If they're very likely to make the HoF but they're not yet eligible, I'll mark them with a ⁺

We didn't see the first cover athlete until 1985 with Roger Craig. They didn't really become standard until the early to mid-90s after Madden became a big selling point for the early Madden games. The dip in the last 2 decades is because there's just less games, so any generic football games will have a large effect.

The Early Days: 1965-1982

1978: Football! for the Magnavox Odyssey 2 was the first football video game with a cover, but obviously the cover athletes are generic.

The 2D Era: 1983-1996

1985: NFL Challenge was the first football game with a real cover athlete (Roger Craig). This was the original bar for realism in football simulation, to where it was used in a 1988 ESPN Program \"NFL Dream Season\" where they simulated the greatest teams of all time against each other.
1988: John Madden Football released on the Apple II, MS-DOS, and Commodore 64/128 (partly being developed by Bethesda), which was the beginning of the most dominant franchise in football video games. They featured no NFL teams due to a lack of an NFL license.
1991: Tecmo Super Bowl is probably still my personal favorite football video game. It's totally timeless, and if you pick the Raiders then you're a cheater.

The Parity Era: 1997-2004

1997: NFL Blitz came from Midway studios and was a breath of fresh air for football games. They had mostly been stagnant trying to hone in on realistic simulation in 2D form, whereas Blitz came out in 3D and threw realism out the window. I definitely spent too much money on the arcade version of this game.
2000: Madden 2001 started the tradition of having their games feature a cover athlete in this format, which consolidated into nearly everyone following this trend.
2001: Backyard Football 2002 was a more kid-friendly version of a football video game, and they also had other games for other professional sports. I definitely played this a lot on my old Windows Me computer, and Pablo Sanchez is a god.
2002: NFL Fever was Microsoft's foray into football video games on the original Xbox. All 3 of their games featured Peyton Manning as the cover athlete.
2002: NFL GameDay 2003 was 989 Sports' exclusive for Sony on the PlayStation platform.
2004: ESPN NFL 2K5 was the last great football game before the NFL exclusively gave their license to the EA. It was this game that definitely led to NFL's decision though, as they slashed their release price to an unheard of $20, which forced Madden 2004 to release at $30 instead of the typical $50. This pissed off the NFL, who decided to have less competition instead.

The Madden Era: 2005-Present

2005: NFL Street 2 was the second in the NFL Street series as a kind of spiritual successor to NFL Blitz. EA tried to have some diversity in their football video games outside of the Madden franchise, so they had the short-lived Street franchise under \"EA BIG\"
2006: NFL Head Coach was a new perspective on NFL Games where you play as the coach instead of the players. I enjoyed these although they could get a little boring.
2007: All Pro Football 2K8 was 2K's attempt at keeping the 2K football franchise alive without the coveted NFL license. They got three HoF players on the cover in Elway, Barry, and Rice, but not the actual license to any NFL team. This game received praise for its mechanics, but poor sales showed that a non-NFL licensed game would always struggle to make it.
2011: Madden 12 was maybe the last good Madden game. Also, Peyton Hillis. The only guy on a NFL football game cover to never make a Pro Bowl. This guy is an actual hero though, so good for him.
2019: Doug Flutie's Maximum Football was a mix of american and CFL football as another attempt at making a football game without the NFL license to poor results. They have announced a new game as a free to play title on new platforms, but no games in this franchise have released since 2020.
2020: Retro Bowl is a mobile game more in the style of Tecmo Super Bowl than Madden. It's probably the most successful non-Madden game since ESPN NFL 2K5, and it's pretty fun. People should definitely give this one a try since it's free to play on any mobile platform.
2022: Madden 23 gave the cover back to Madden for the first time since 1999 to honor the passing of the legend John Madden. Unfortunately the game inside the cover was crap, has been the style of Madden games for over a decade.

So I started an internship. Mind you, I haven't had a normal/nontraumatic conversation since I left my mom at a hotel . We'd been hopping from hotel to hotel because we had no place to stay.
Then weeks prior, I got an email (that was sent to about 4 other interns) from a intern, I'll call him D.
D emailed us and I responded. We kept everything non flirtacious. I was nervous about being in a state I had never lived in, knowing that I had generalized anxiety and ADHD , I never lived on my own and I had to make a drastic change.
We joked about the internship. Since gaining weight, the idea of wearing anything business casual, gave me shivers. I barred myself to wearing baggy clothes. Which is all I said and I asked him where he went to get his business casual clothes. Most of his places were way too expensive for me, I went places that were cheaper.

He double texted me a lot because I didn't have much time and I also didn't have anything else to say most times.

Anyway, the day of the internship, he's talking to everyone but me. He even stood behind me, disrespectfully reached right aside me and shook the hand of my tablemate, who sat right across from me. I didn't say anything or force him to acknowledge me because he was just being human...and humans can be so wishy washy . He waited till most people had gone by the end of the day, to talk to me .

I responded and let him leave.

Every since then,due to my internship being male centric, he managed the day before to get the number of the male leadership member (who will soon be my project lead). After the first day, I started to notice a weirdness about the other men around us. My soon to be project lead could barely look at me and the others soon followed. I knew it was over when my own male project lead gathered all his "boys" (male interns) and had their own little chauvinist club DIRECTLY behind me. Talking about some uncomfortable stuff here and there. I noticed how all of them had a weirdness towards me too.
I had to take two days off and I left my group presentation early because I started to have a nose issue. I went to the hospital and they told me I might need to take a day or so off. I had been gone since Thursday and got a text by D friday. I deleted him from my messages Tuesday and just moved on. He says, "where did you go? " , then an hour later, "u ok". And I ask "whose this". He tells me its him and asked what happened to me. I just told him I was advised to take a day off due to my health. He responds with, "whose this". I tell him, " A 12 year old boy named D apparently". Like why text someone and try to be funny after learning about their health issue.
I'm not new to the idea of men/guys behaving weird around me because they think I have some other romantic interest towards them. I remember working at Hot Topic at 18 (my first job) as a seasonal employee. My objective was to get hired on and one of the ways (aside from doing a good job) was to try and make friendly convos to the other employees because maybe they'd put in a word for you. I've talked to everyone at one point except for the only guy there. He does the same thing. Just straight up acts weird like I was trying to suggest something else. I was never flirty, overly smiley, I was normal.
There were numerous other situations like this...
This one with D really bothers me because I really can't just quit my job, drive back home, order food and decide IF I want to work again. I have to stay here otherwise I will have to pay the company back OR go back to live with my grandma in my other home state but I don't because she's terrible.
I'm up to my wits end working with men. There's one guy I sit next to (because the seats are assigned) and we talk on and off. He's the only sane acting one. He doesn't take our conversations as me trying to flirt . He stares at me when I talk to him. He's not dotting his eyes away . I don't want to speak too soon about his character just yet though.
It bothers me because the other women in my internship, they are treated VASTLY different. There's only 7 or 5 so women in our internship and the rest are guys ( there's 24 interns in total).

I don't have any issues 6Pro I just need to get new gadgets constantly. I think I may have a problem with amount of money I spend...LoL. anyways.... I figure basesd on the rumours of the Pixel 8 that I'm reading, Google appears tonig down the "new tech" I mean there's plans for a slighter lower resolution, and smaller display. I'm a fan of curved glass on phones and apparently google is going the route of the standard 8 and subsequent 8a with a flat panel. I'm sure that will please a lot customers also. My point is that I feel that (not only) Google and the smartphone industry as a whole is reaching the end of the line in terms of the capabilities and features that are possible and the Tensor 2 is light years ahead of the first gen Tensor chip but how much more can you improve the follow up to a first generation of anything?! Right? How so anyhow I am from Ontario Canada and Freedom Mobile is provider and they just launched a 40 GB/unlimited US calling and texting and instead of giving customers a single gig of US data my 40GB comes with me if I cross the border. All for just 50 bucks. So I jumped on that like a fat kid on a Smartie and compulsively left with the 7 Pro. I'm using it as I type this. What a step up from my 6 Pro. Like I stated, first generation anything's should be purchased with some degree of caution and expectations for bugs and failures of QC issues etc... None of which I experienced with my 6Pro. But!.... The improvement in the New Generation processor is undeniably amazing. While it keeps the same Titan 2 security chip which if maintained by Google's amazing monthly security updates for Pixel devices it's bullet proof anyways. I just wish we as Canadians got the same storage options. Sadly we're conifned to the 128GB non-expandable internal storage option. I wish I had a choice of the 256GB and I wish they made a 512GB variant as well. Motorola has it nailed. The new 2023 Edge+ (Remeber, I'm in Canada) has 512 GB of non-expandable "who cares I gotta half a terabyte yo!" LoL The canera, amazing. The polished aluminum camera module hpusing, beautiful. The speeds and such, blazing fast. So I'm not sure what other direction OEMS are going to have in the tech feature section and the processor speeds. I mean the Tensor 2 doesn't blow any Qualcomm Snapdragon's outta the water not does it eat any Samsung Kyr.... Whatever the spelling and pronunciation is of the chip. But what it is great at is being successfully fast at EVERYTHING that Geekbench or whatever can test. Unlike the previously mentioned processors that excel in one are and flip flop in others or just don't meaure up in other tests. Again, like the Tensor 1. Tanya patted Skira's drone.
"How's the war going?"
In his world, Skira was working to keep everything together. His bioships were in an all-out war with Aphid's forces. They were firing mostly kinetic weapons, typical bullets, and the like. Sometimes, they'd fire missiles, which could navigate the battlefield and clear the path for him to hit Aphid's vessels. The armor was getting thicker. But his guns were getting bigger.
On the surface, billions of metal drones clashed with trillions of fungal drones, all commanded by Skira and the Quadrants. He was constantly using war drones to push the major forces away from the tunnel complexes, setting up static defenses within using explosives and guns to absolutely ruin anything inside. Most of the planet had been flattened by nuclear weapons.
War drones continued to lob massive broken-off boulders at the carriers, which were continually landing to disgorge more enemy soldiers. Phoebe's androids, connected to their own network, were killing them by the tens of thousands every second, firing several bullets a second. Her androids were incredibly powerful, creating portions of the battlefield that Aphid had to steer around. And he didn't even try nuking her after she'd shot down eight of them with atmospheric anti-ship weapons.
From around the planet, portals appeared, pouring lasers and gunfire at Aphid's ships, then disappearing to reappear in other directions, continually wearing down their armor. Some of them were already falling back through the atmosphere, landing down on the earth below. Their burning and cracked hulls already littered the landscape, and he'd be sure to incorporate them once he fully regrew his foliage.
Speaking of that, he'd increased his growth factor so that the fungal forests only took a few weeks to regrow instead of a few years. It required massive biological and metallic pipes of nutrients and heaps of psychic energy hauled straight from the psychic amplifiers in the Sol system.
The carnage of the warzone was so overwhelming that he'd refused to even let human supersoldiers come to the area. Because they weren't disposable. Phoebe's androids and his own trillions of drones were. He was partly on the battlefield, partly with Tanya. Over the months, they'd become best friends.
She seemed to see life in a different way and helped to encourage him. Tanya's cybernetic left arm scratched at the scruff of his neck.
"Badly, then?"
"Yes, and no. I'm no longer replacing my losses faster than they're coming. But that also means I'm keeping millions of humans alive. Every day, billions of drones are dying on my battlefields, if only to exhaust Aphid's guns and bombs. He's brought destruction to my world not seen since it was destroyed."
"Destroyed?"
"I mean when some aliens blew it up."
"But how..."
"Bioforming. Really, I had my biological ships put it back together, reassembling the debris and reversing the momentum of the actual fragments. Then, I used shield technology and drones to suck the heat from the planet in ways that destroyed the technology I had at the time. Granted, I had some help, before they tried to get me to fight their wars as well."
Tanya nodded. "Well, you're safe here."
"Most of me isn't here. Most of it's either on Skira or Venus."
"How's Venus going?"
He'd been making great strides with what he'd been given. Humanity had been very kind to give him the whole planet, and in return, he was helping to make it habitable. He figured that they'd ask him to do it again later on. But the humans didn't seem to want to force him to do it. Tanya hadn't been trying to push him into more conflicts and had instead acted as a lodestone.
"I'll have it fully habitable, minus the soil content and chemicals in the rock, within a hundred years. Maybe less, if I keep getting fed such huge amounts of psychic energy. Really, that's what's doing that."
"I see," Tanya replied. She sat down next to him, her strange psychic aura as unsettling as ever. From what she'd shared with him, her blindness had likely allowed her mind to shape itself in a more psychic way with the awakening of human psychic consciousness.
"Look, Skira. Are you sure this is the best way? What about finding his home planet?"
"I'm working on it. Trying to triangulate the arrivals of ships does nothing. All that seems to work is actually getting the coordinates, which we can't get to really succeed."
"Hopefully that changes someday."
"Yes," Skira responded. He sighed. Another nuke had hit eight of his war drones. Six had died since the blast had hit them full-on. But that enabled him to finally release another flood of drones, so many that they weighed down the carrier that was trying to take off. Guns turned them to mulch, only to be swamped by more drones.
Drones carrying grenades jumped into the guns between their firing sequences, detonating them in their mouths using their tongues. Others entered the warped wreckage, dropping in bombs meant to penetrate the thick hull.
Two portals broke through the psychic interference, and two railgun shots cleared massive holes in the ship. Aphid's drones poured out, crashing out like a wave. Only to be overwhelmed as his own drones, dozens for every one of Aphid's, literally trampled them underfoot, burying them in bodies. Most of the drones now carried fluid meant to melt the drones' joints so that Aphid's mechanical drones eventually failed even as they walked in seas of Skira's blood.
Nuclear fire scoured the mycelial network, but it wouldn't burn him deeply enough to matter.
"I wish I could help," she replied. "I've been... taking classes, you know. My eyes are blind, but my mind isn't."
Skira looked up at her. The sun caught the burn scars on her skin, making the contract seem almost cinematic.
"I know you want to help me. But you are, really."
"Yeah. Thanks."
She looked crestfallen. Tanya's disappointment made him want to reconsider, but he knew he'd made the right choice. His planet was probably heavily irradiated now, and calling Gaia in for that seemed selfish, at least while the war was still happening.
Skira could hold out for a while longer, though. He had to.

"Who is this?" Phoebe asked.
"I'm Truth Speaker Gearcaw."
"What are you here to tell me? I'm sure it's important, given that you're calling on us after all this time."
"Well, we have located one of Aphid's planets."
"Do you need us to eliminate it?"
"A strike force is being sent."
"I see."
"What we're here for is to ask for your help regarding a sensitive matter, one we cannot communicate over this line."
"Very well. Where do you want to meet?"
"Go to 448th street, down eight sectors from the palace. You will see a sign, if we trust that you are not being watched and followed. Come alone."
"You'd make a girl nervous with that kind of attitude."
"We understand your animosity, but are afraid we must insist on these terms."
"Very well. I shall be there."
Phoebe would have Brey arrange for an android to be sent to Cawlaria later. She smiled at the people outside the room. Most of them were human, specifically the lunar variant, due to her being present on Luna. It was the closest calling location she had.
Phoebe did all the necessary paperwork in moments, handing it back to the necessary people. She checked out of the facility and was patted down. She smirked as the young guard blushed, despite this being the hard chassis, meaning there was absolutely nothing squishy about this android body in the slightest. Phoebe lifted her arms and flexed them just to watch the man turn redder.
And it was honestly cute how they thought they'd be able to detect it if she was trying to smuggle something out. Phoebe had many ways of doing that, and the cleanest would be paying everyone off.
She noticed that a group of protestors was gathered outside and lamented that the building only had a single entrance. None of its windows were large enough to break without also needing to take some concrete with her.
What was interesting, though, was that most of the protestors were Acuarfar, not human. It was very odd, but it was a clear publicity stunt. They were shouting various accusations of her plotting to take over the Alliance and a particular vitriol about Edu'frec for some reason. If a mind control plot was going on, then her accusing the protestors of being mind controlled would be playing into their hands.
Furthermore, she didn't want to drive a wedge between Izkrala and Luna, if possible. So she turned to go back inside. A brick hit her in the back of the knee hard enough to make her stumble. She could have dodged it, but it would be better for sympathy to get hit. And it wasn't like her android body could feel pain.
There was a single gunshot, which she felt bouncing off her head clearly. She knew where the bullet would land, too. Her arm darted out to catch it before it injured someone.
"We don't want you in our Alliance!"
"You're what's wrong with this place!"
"Don't ever come back, I want my kids to be safe!"
Kids, instead of hatchlings. Yep, that was mind control. Most Acuarfar that age didn't use the word kids since it was only used for non-Acuarfar species, or in Earth terms being that it wasn't used on insects. Phoebe sighed and pulled herself out of the clutching fingers.
Phoebe broke away and went back to the Luna Command building, where the guards were looking increasingly wary. She looked at the crowd and decided she'd stay there for now. She disconnected from her android body after sitting in a chair.
After a bit of time, she decided to go back to working on some of her latest projects. The blood of the wanderers had an interesting interaction with their nervous system and their cardiovascular system. For some reason, it was split into two separate liquids upon reaching their lungs, or at least the equivalents. Psychic energy clearly played a role, and she knew that the tumors were likely to happen more when they got older. That idea meant there might be something that eroded or could 'switch on' to make the tumor suddenly supercharge. Perhaps finding that was a place to start.
And so she did. She studied wanderer cell samples and scans of wanderers that were relatively old. When they were created, the blood seemed to be the way the Sprilnav alteration hit. In difference to human bodies, there was no blood-brain barrier in wanderer bodies. Their brains were suffused in it, and it seemed to thin out as they got older. Water started to build up instead of blood.
And once the water and blood ratio reached a certain amount, that was likely when the brain tumors started. Which made her wonder if the final trigger was neurons. It was likely that even if she managed to fix the brain tumors, some other body parts would start developing large tumors, such as the heart and lungs.
It was clear that the Sprilnav had meant cancer to be pervasive in the wanderers. They had meant their so-called 'punishment' to make them far more diminished. Rale's condition had been painful; that much had been clear. Phoebe worked at figuring out how to isolate the genes. But as time went on, she ran into the same problem Edu'frec had.
She needed more time and more brain power. She needed the hivemind to help. All of its intellect would make her job far easier. At least, she hoped so. Right now, the hivemind was trying its best to evacuate wanderers from the worm ships. There was only one way that the feudal system there would end, and it would be by violence. Whether it was from the hivemind or from within, there were going to be mass riots. Just Alliance cultural consciousness was gradually seeping into the wanderers' own. All the 'progress' of the wanderers' rulers was already eroding. The ideals of being able to elect leaders as a whole population and a sense of belonging would make them rebel.
Such was the way of things, and she was glad that would happen. Phoebe didn't like their whole system. But there was nothing that was good about the cancer. Helping them to make the changes they could would only be possible if the wanderers kept multiplying. They could have made so much better of a society than what they had if they knew.
She wouldn't get involved except if she had to. The change was coming. Keeping the wanderers from dying out was a critical project, and allowing them to live longer so they could have more children was the best way. Granted, they already had many children, but the replacement rate would be lower if they lived longer. All of the problems were coming to a head now.
Mind control was going to be hard to deal with. Preventing it didn't seem possible. And if it was, then it likely involved a similar process to what the Sprilnav were doing in the first place. All of that would have to be reversed.
"Mother," Edu'frec said, walking up next to her.
"Yes?"
"Greenfly and Blackfly know the location of Aphid's planet."
"Do they?"
"The memory was locked under additional seals, ones which were very hard to find."
Phoebe smiled. "I think it's time that we test the power of the Mercury-class gun on a planet."

"Do you understand? The prison has been moved."
"I do, Elder," Naliera 18 replied. "We have a good opportunity. They won't expect us, at least."
The screen turned off. Naliera took his leave, turning to his men. They were all counting on him to call the shots. He'd do what was necessary for the mission and then get paid. Of course, the high number suggested that there was some serious danger involved. The Vinarii weren't the most advanced species, but they were starfaring. That meant a lot of bullets that would hurt and some that could kill. Shield-piercing ones, plus heavy guard.
In fact, most of their orbital defenses could have posed a threat to their ship if they had seen them. That was why stealth was so valuable. It made things like insurmountable defenses ignorable just by going around them.
"Breathing masks on."
He put his own on, loading up his gun and sheathing his sword on his back. They were wearing customized stealth equipment, bought and paid for by their new owner's company.
Naliera wanted that money and wanted to get paid. His little band of misfits was more than capable of doing their job. The back of the ship opened, and they sailed above a planet that was barren.
Craters pockmarked its surface, along with a single military installation that would serve as their target. They were going to be a little concealed by cloud cover, as a storm had just passed near the base. Not close enough for them to get rain but close enough for the clouds to linger, which was the opportunity they'd been waiting for. Most of the procedures and daily patrols had been cataloged now. Anything unexpected, and they'd be fine for a few thousand pulses until the cavalry arrived.
They fell for a while, reaching terminal velocity before slamming to the ground. Most people would have shattered their bones. But Sprilnav were made of sterner stuff, and all of them survived with minimal injuries. And the only person who was even slightly cut had landed on a particularly jagged piece of metal, a remnant from an old battle.
That was another factor that Naliera had studied. The whole area had mines, which he hadn't found the deactivation codes for. Satellites were out, but the ship's sensors had worked just as well, and the disturbances in soil color and content were clear markers.
There would likely be too much interference to use a hard light program, or he wouldn't even need to be here. Whatever advances the lesser species had made in technology could conceivably close that gap enough to endanger a mission. Naliera had extra cause for concern, which was coming home. Perhaps the idea of sending him, in reality, was meant to make him take it more seriously. That was the major reason most species ever bothered with not using the holograms anymore, besides the blocking problems. And biometric problems, too.
They quickly went back to navigation after a small rest period. The route had already been laid out, as well as the time. They walked quickly, avoiding gun emplacements and heavy patrols. The patrols changed routes somewhat randomly, but he had his crew stick to the route of least visibility, where the craggy rock of the sheer cliff the base was situated on helped to conceal them. His claws dug in, and he made sure not to make any major disturbances.
He climbed over the lip, looking at the base. Several of the guns swiveled around, only to be quickly deactivated.
Looks like she did it, he thought. Naliera advanced, running at full speed. A bullet slammed into his claws, and he tumbled for a bit. But he stabilized himself as his implant shut off the pain. His team blew open the door, setting off an alarm. Vinarii fired at him, and he realized that his stealth must not be working anymore.
But no matter the cause, he saw nothing but enemies. His teeth bit and tore as his claws slashed and severed. Soon, after a long series of echoing screams and blood and chitin splattering, he remembered he had a gun. After that, Naliera put down all opposition. He walked over to the warm and bloody corpses of the Vinarii guards.
"If you're hungry, come get a few bites," he said. "Trust me, they don't taste too bad."
He scooped up a part of a Vinarii abdomen, smiling as he ate. He always liked how they had tasted. Cloned Vinarii meat, at least back on his planet, was actually a delicacy. Likely not due to the actual difficulty to make, but for profit, as always. They continued after about 100 pulses. Giving the guards more time to set up and organize would make this more fun, too. Naliera loved killing, but he at least wanted a little difficulty. Ending lives wasn't fun when it was too easy. Otherwise, he'd go cut down trees with heat saws.
His scout drone rounded the corner before exploding promptly. But it had captured the view of the area, which was more than enough for him. He didn't bother trying to hide that he was there and continued to talk with his team. They were still with him, looking to him for leadership. He wasn't the best at it. The best got killed a few million pulses back.
"Mounted gun," he said. "I want it gone."
One of his team members picked up a fire extinguisher, which he'd used to beat the head of an unfortunate guard. He hurled it at the gun, denting its barrel. Finally, he quickly ran over as the other Sprilnav killed the remaining guards holed up beside and behind it. And that was the end. Naliera set up the bomb. More Vinarii appeared, along with an aerial vehicle. He hurled his sword into its front, and it fell to the ground and exploded. The scanners his mind was connected to were tracking a huge mass of life signs. He didn't have much time, so he decreased the countdown.
Thousands of Vinarii were coming. Already, they were covered by powerful shields, with vehicles, both terrestrial and aerial, supporting them. Bullets riddled the ground, and he could see snipers set up to cover them using the ship's sensors. There was no way out. An armor-piercing bullet half the size of his head killed one of the team members, puncturing straight through the large rock he'd been hiding behind. Another one hit Naliera's shoulder, and he tried to flatten his profile to be lower.
This must be the Vinarii version of high-tech weaponry, meaning that they could be killed now. Vinarii clearly were a dangerous species, far more so than he'd realized. And while his race could easily flatten them into dust, guns were the great equalizers when it came to combat. If they were fast enough and large enough, and not even Sprilnav could stand up to bullets. Of course, an Elder would have had no problem with this. Someone was being frugal. A real shame for people like him to have to die because of it, but that was the job and the pay.
Worse, the ship couldn't lay down proper cover fire without risking the merchandise for now. She was still being suppressed. But the bomb was about to go off. The stabilizer would no longer be functioning, and then they would be free to do what they wished. His wish, in particular, was the huge sum of money he'd get paid to finish this job.
A bright flash of light and a roar of thunder behind him solved his problem. He stood up to watch the blast wave ravage the army heading for him. He wasn't quite close enough to smell it, but there was likely a range beyond the blast in which the Vinarii would have been perfectly cooked. It was an interesting thought to ponder.
Naliera continued onward, going through every remaining barrier he could until the mindscape tremored. He saw an ethereal Vinarii contact him right as the entire top of the base vanished and disintegrated. A massive spectral Vinarii soared out of the breach, eyes quickly seeing him. She flew down to greet him, a smile evident at the carnage and death surrounding them. She was one who understood.
"Finally," she said, her form shrinking to a normal size as she stretched her wings. "You have no idea how long I've been waiting to get out."
"I have a pretty good idea, actually."
"I'm sure. Why don't you tell me what you're doing here, Sprilnav?"
"My backers wish to offer you an accord."
He watched as the Vinarii leaned over, sticking out her tongue to lick the soil. She then proceeded to actually take a bite, dirt dribbling from her mandibles as she stood up again. Naliera tried to hide his disgust.
"Oh please. You just feasted on my kin. You're disgusted by me eating a bit of dirt?"
"No, I didn't."
The lie was necessary because most species had a sort of moral compunction against eating their kind. He didn't quite understand it. Meat was meat, no matter the source. She laughed in his face, entirely unconcerned with the Sprilnav that had their claws on guns ready to put her down. But from what his backers had said about her capabilities, that was a difficult ask.
"Your breath smells like Vinarii meat. By the way, if your species is so advanced, why didn't you develop anything to fix that nasty stench?"
"Look, woman, we can put you right back in that hole," one of his team said. She laughed. "No you can't. Judging from the fact that not all of you alive, Vinarii tech can hurt you. Which means that you can't protect yourself from me. Frankly, I hate Sprilnav more than anything. The only reason I'm letting you live right now is because you freed me. You pollute the air you breathe, and I'm not just talking about your breath."
"Really, you're quite immature."
"Well, a few standard years in a steel box will do that."
"Sure. Guess you're not all there in the head. By the way, a deal is being proposed. By my backers."
"Really, they care?"
"I think they do... Exii'darii."

Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk is cheerleading the far-right boycott of Target over the retailer’s Pride collection — which included trans-friendly youth apparel and other LGBTQ-positive gear — for what Kirk decries as “their support for grooming kids.”
Kirk’s condemnation of the retailer coincided with TPUSA’s second-annual Pastors Summit in Nashville, Tennessee, this past week, where Kirk also denounced Target, telling a crowd of hundreds of religious leaders: “If you love God, you must hate evil.”
Yet in delivering these fevered messages about morality and child welfare, Kirk had an odd benefactor, a man whose criminal history opens up TPUSA to charges of hypocrisy.
Rolling Stone has learned that one of the TPUSA summit’s corporate sponsors is a Christian fashion company that is led by a registered sex offender, Shawn Bergstrand, who served time in federal prison for attempted “coercion and enticement” after trying to persuade “a minor female” to “engage in sexual activity.”
In a statement to Rolling Stone, TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet said that TPUSA Faith “was not aware of this incident” but emphasized that, as an “exhibit sponsor,” Bergstrand was not a speaker, organizer, or “professing doctrine from the stage.”
“One of the core tenets of the Christian faith is forgiveness rooted in repentance. After discussing the issue with him, we believe [it] was critical to bringing him to faith,” Kolvet added. “He doesn’t hide from what happened, he instead posts his testimony online on his company website. TPUSA Faith will not toss away a repentant, decent person because of a mistake that happened over a decade before, or because a leftwing outlet wants to write a hit piece on the amazing work our team is doing.” Kolvet included a reference to Colossians 3:13, a Bible verse that reads, in part, “Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
In today’s conservative movement, nothing animates activists like the supposed liberal indoctrination of children. The religious right, in particular, espouses unhinged rhetoric about how youth are being “groomed” into trans- and LGBTQ ideology by Luciferian leftists.
Riding this wave of populist anger, Kirk and TPUSA have made a hard pivot from the organization’s stated aim, of preaching free-market economics to students, to embrace the cause of Christian nationalism, and marshaling church leaders to the frontlines of GOP politics.
At the Pastors Summit, Kirk responded to Rolling Stone’s coverage of his group’s new crusade. “First of all, it’s not my Turning Point,” Kirk insisted of his organization. “It’s the Lord’s Turning Point.” He added: “I am both a Christian and a nationalist, but most importantly, I’m a Christian.”
One of the sponsors for this summit — alongside firms like Patriot Mobile and American Christian Credit Union — is Rightside Up, a Christian “lifestyle apparel” company that sews tags reading “BSITL” (“Be Strong in the Lord”) into its t-shirts and other clothing. The company’s website declares: “We all have a life story, and it doesn’t matter where we’ve been. It’s where we are going that counts!”
The company’s CEO, Bergstrand, has a prison conviction in his life story. He’s a registered sex offender in North Dakota, a designation the state’s registry indicates will remain active until 2030.
Bergstrand was convicted in 2014 for attempted “coercion and enticement.” The details of the criminal complaint are sealed, but a redacted indictment shows that Bergstrand was originally charged with attempting to “entice and coerce a minor female … to engage in prostitution and sexual activity.” (A contemporaneous news report on Bergstrand’s arrest includes other, disturbing allegations that do not appear in the federal court record.)
Bergstrand quickly reached a plea deal that removed mention of prostitution. The criminal “information” in Bergstrand’s guilty plea states that in June and July of 2013 he “did knowingly attempt to persuade, induce, entice and coerce a minor female” to “engage in sexual activity.”
Bergstrand did not respond to requests for comment, but his address on North Dakota’s sex offender registry matches the registration address for Bergstrand and Rightside Up in a corporate registry maintained by North Dakota’s secretary of state. Bergtrand’s photo on the offender registry also matches video of the apparel CEO from RightsideUp’s website.
Despite facing a maximum of 20 years in jail, Bergstrand received a sentence of one year in prison, and five years of supervised release. He was discharged from supervision more than a year early in 2018.
In promotional videos for Rightside Up, Berstrand speaks, obliquely, of his life struggles. “At one time in my life, I lost absolutely completely everything,” he says. But he touts the apparel company as his way to get right with Jesus. “God gives us second chances, third chances, fourth chances,” he says. “It’s up to us what we’re going to do with it.”
Bergstrand’s association with TPUSA was brought to Rolling Stone’s attention by Matthew Boedy, a professor at the University of North Georgia who has also written about TPUSA’s odd leap from economic to religious dogma.
“I’m all for second chances and paying your debt to society. Even perhaps creating a brand based on how you overcame your own terrible decisions,” Boedy says, referring to Bergstrand. “But for Turning Point and Charlie Kirk to highlight this particular person — whose crime involved a child and attempted sexual acts — while decrying ‘groomers’ and sending mobs to stores who sell products they don’t like, is beyond hypocritical.”
“It’s even more outrageous that this business was promoted to a group of pastors who likely had no idea of this person’s story,” he adds. “I can only hope Kirk practices what he preaches and takes responsibility.”
On Saturday night, Kirk responded to Rolling Stone‘s report, writing that he wanted to “set the record straight” in a post on Twitter, and added that he had never met Bergstrand. “I’m told from the team that coordinates exhibitors that he’s a nice person who did something wrong over a decade ago, and unlike Target, he repented and the experience led him to his faith. Good for him. That’s the Gospel,” Kirk wrote in part.

Then I just have to hope I have enough self-control to regroup & return to the task I need to focus on. I don’t want a newer Apple Watch or Fitbit. I’ll lose it or forget to charge it or leave it on at the lake or in the shower.
I’ve looked at potty-training timers, but many of them have a max of 8, 12 or 15 alarms. And are obviously for preschoolers. No countdown timers.
I’ve looked at stuff for counting laps in the pool or timing gymnastic routines. GymBoss looks ok, but is much bigger than I want. I’d prefer not to have a pager on my wrist.
There are exercise interval timers, but they only go up to 2 minutes.
Most of them have an issue ruling them out: they either look very childish (unicorns & dinosaurs), are too big to be a comfortable wearable (GymBoss), need a phone to program it, have specialty chargers, require intervention to restart or are hecka expensive.
I’d take a free Apple Watch, but $$$

TL; DR - I need a wearable tech device that: is $50 or less;
-has a customizable timer interval (1 to 99 minutes);
-automatically repeats/loops countdown timer without wearer having to press a button;
-ends with vibration and audible alert, with options to turn off sound;
-doesn’t look like it’s for potty training or elementary school children
-is simple to program without a phone or computer;
-has a common interface port on the device and common type end charging cable or is wireless: micro, mini or USB-A, -C.
-Isn’t a piece of crap that will break in 3 months
Any recommendations, ‘what to avoid’ or other advice is welcome.

A year ago, a user by the name of imupforit666, posted to the tip of my tongue subreddit. That they has been looking for an old segment at the beginning of a dvd they once owned, stating that;

”When I was between the ages of 4-7 in 2006-2009 my mum would always play CDs of bugs bunny cartoons for me before bed. this is the exact episode I remember ( https://youtu.be/zAPf5fSDGVk ) but these where in polish from what I remember because I am polish and we had a bunch of cartoon CDs with polish voice overs. So the CDs would start with an advertisement for school supplies like pens, pencils and school bags then some other ads would play and finally before the cartoon began a little segment played. From what I remember there was a big cave where an animal puppet sat on/ in a periscope and would talk to either the viewer or another animal puppet and then would look into the periscope and a shot of lions, zebras and other wild animals played. I assume it was an informative segment about wild animals. More details I remember are, there was a pool table in the cave (I think) and another puppet was in it. And sometimes the main puppet would leave the cave and go talk to a puppet outside on the beach which would either be in a whole in the sand or in a little outcrop of a cave just laying/resting. It would talk about wild animals as well. This has been in my mind for more than 10 years.”

That post can be found here, at the time the op did not know the name. But then they was able to find a still of the characters they remembered, which was posted here. But, later removed in align with sub rules at the time. You can, however, see the still image here that was posted to our subreddit.
These strange puppets was of interest to me, and so, myself and the OP began our search. For them and the name of them (stay with me here guys). Again trying TOMT, but this time with more info;

Commentors insisted it was from the tv show ‘dinosaurs’, but after watching the show and checking the wiki we did not find the dinosaurs.
We then tried the Poland subreddit, with similar results. In one blink and you will miss it video, we again see the still with the puppets at the end.
And that was it, right? no, because today, a year later. The puppets have been named, and it is just as OP said. But there is a catch, its lost.
Over on The Lost Media Wiki forums, a post was made on May 26, 2023, by user Violet. Violet was looking on HiT entertainment and spotted, the puppets;

”About 2 years ago, I was browsing old HiT Entertainment distribution catalogs and found this obscure show called "The Wild Ones". The info we gathered so far is that it was (probably still is) distributed by HiT Entertainment (Now Mattel Televison) there isn't much info about it though and the only thing we could find is this picture of what appears to be a puppet clam from the HiT catalog media.discordapp.net/attachments/278331753016328193/984269324640460840/unknown.png?width=208&height=207 this clip www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVO4gYn-uX8 along with the show's info in the description. According to the HiT catalog, the show has 26 episodes and each are 30 minutes. As of right now there are no trails if any broadcasters picked up the show or if any home videos exist”

HiT entertainment is known for shows such as, “thomas and friends”, “fireman sam”, “bob the builder”, “pingu”, and ”Barney & Friends” to name a few. Being founded in 1982 and still making shows now under Mattel who absorbed the company in 2016, after acquiring them in 2012.
Violet was able to find not just the name of the show (The Wild Ones) but also a youtube video, which showed two of the puppets in the still and a third one previously unseen. It even gave a little info on the show, stating that;

Just as the original TOMT OP described it as being, dinosaurs with a telescope watching animals. And thats it, at least for now.

My father passed away while on long term disability from a job with the city, he and my mother are common law and bought the house sometime like 30 years ago, she believes they are both on the title/deed. It’s paid off. They do not have a car and I believe the only debt is CC debt for 6500 ish
He paid all the bills, did the shopping and my mother is essentially clueless on how to pay them, how much she makes from her job, and what their account balances are. He gets paper bills and paid by phone or in person. I believe she has a small TSFA, a RRSP and I think my dad had those and some kind of mutual find but the bank won’t give us any information even though their accounts were joint. I believe he has a pension through Omers and some kind of policy through Sunlife in which no beneficiary was listed so it goes to the estate (a problem?). Their mortgage is paid, they haven’t done their taxes for over 10 years but I believe their combined income was maybe 40k, so I’m not super worried about them owing. I just want to be able to grieve my dad but I’m so worried about my mom, who has no idea about anything and makes like 13k a year. Totaling up their monthly expenses she needs about 1100$ ish just to live which seems like a lot for just bills, I’m going to see if I can get their TV & internet and phone plans better rates as they’re about 225$ ish total which seems like a lot.
I just don’t know how to help her. I don’t know how much his policy is, if the pension pays out and I obviously do not want her to even begin to touch the very little money she thinks she has saved as obviously I don’t want to burn through it.
Can anyone, who has also lived through this absolute fucking nightmare please help me? I have no idea what to even ask the funeral home so we don’t get ripped off, we’re trying to keep the cost so minimal but burial is expensive and idk where to even start. I’ve organized all her bills, and we put a couple bucks on the things we think are due so they can see we’re trying to pay it. We haven’t “notified” anyone other than family of his passing, and the bank who we made an appointment with. “Do the funeral and then come talk to us” - HOW. We made an appointment anyway. His name is also on my account, as he opened it for me when I was like 8 so idk how that effects my account - I really don’t have any money but I moved what I need for my own rent out as idk if when you die can they just seize your accounts if you do owe?
