Just for context - I am what my locality would consider a high income earner. I make six figures, not including bonuses. I also have court ordered child support for roughly $2,100/month paid to me. He sold it for a pretty penny when the housing market exploded during the pandemic. Good for him. In exchange, he agreed to pay off most of the marital debt. This is all in writing and court ordered. Long story short, I go to check my credit report a few months ago, and my ex essentially went to the credit bureau claiming the joint debts were “belonging to an ex spouse” and disputed them! My attorney is well aware, and we have now served him with contempt and a motion to show cause is set to be heard May 11th. Serving him was hellacious since he took off about a year ago to move to Alaska, never sees our kids, and found a new partner. Anyway, we both have attorneys and he knows he’s screwed according to my lawyer. The problem is, these marital debts have absolutely tanked my credit. I don’t have much credit other than a small credit card and my car, that’s halfway paid off. The debts he was required to pay total about $35,000. They are marked as bad debt on my credit report as well as collections and have dropped my score by an uncomfortable amount.
I am looking to move in May. Of all months. My lease is up on my current place. I’ve lived here with my kids since the divorce, and it’s a good sized luxury apartment. I didn’t want to deal with mowing the lawn and all the upkeep of a house while going through such an uncertain time in my life, so this was perfect at the time. 3 years later, I’m ready for a home with a yard for my kids. I don’t think my credit score qualifies me for many of the homes I’d like. I feel like landlords hear BS stories all the time from potential renters, and I don’t want to come off that way by bringing up my situation. Should I show a future landlord the court order and the motion of contempt ordered to be heard on May 11th? Any and all advice here is welcome and appreciated.

This program isn't available to apply for until 3/27/2023; however, the guidelines and details about the program have been released. You can verify all the info in my post here. This program is similar to the 10% down program CalFHA had last year. Like that previous program, this program only has a set amount of funds available.
What is the program?
Through shared appreciation, The California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA) will provide 20% down payment assistance, in the form of a silent second loan. There is not a monthly payment associated with this loan; however, should you sell, refi, or transfer ownership, you will have to repay the loan they provided to you, as well as a portion of the appreciation. This loan does not turn into a grant.

What does shared appreciation mean?

TLDR - Our passive income covers all our expenses, plus some.
Kids' college is fully funded, no debt, paid off house, blah, blah.

I (35F) and my husband (30M) have been together almost 5 years and married a little over 4 years. My husband is in the navy and set to deploy soon. I have 2 kids from a previous marriage. Within our marriage we have had to overcome my sudden medical condition, two custody battles and constant fighting. My ex husband was mentally and physically abusive to me for 12 years and he just started doing the same to the kids about 2 years ago. We have called CPS multiple times and always get told that in our state, corporal punishment is legal so they close the case and move on. We taught the kids (10m, 14F) how to defend themselves. Recently we won our custody battle and moved on or so I thought. My husband became even more distant from me recently. He kept telling me that he would be better after the custody case was over. That didn’t happen. He suffers from mild depression but I think it’s more severe. He is in a negative mindset and no matter what I do to try and help him, he pushes me further away. He calls my kids annoy guilt machines and doesn’t interact with them like he used to. He told me he would be a better person when the lawyer debt was paid for. My husband told me during my medical treatments that he would treat me like his wife again when I was better. We just moved into our new place and he is currently out for work reasons. He emails me things like he dreads coming home to a pretend positive environment and that he has found joy and motivation at work. Little about me: I started playing ARK pretty much when it came out, when Island was the only map (IIRC it didnt even have name back then) and we had like third of the dinos that are now in the game. When Crystal Isles came out I decided to rent my first server and that was also when I discovered the power of .ini file editing. Since then I cant go back to playing regular ARK and each server I make has more crazy stuff in it. I have around 1.5k hours played as an admin/owner and god knows how many hours spent on thinking of/testing some crazy ideas. This will be my 4th server, and like all of my previous servers it will have some stuff changed.
Whats about "the twist?"
The server will have few things changed, I will try to give a short description of each element, full details can be found on our discord.

1. All flyers/gliders were removed from the game. This means the way you normally play will drastically change. However it wont mean that we cant fly at all. Tek Suit will still be in the game, Im also adding Steampunk Mod which has Airships. In addition to that we will play on The Center map which has the least amount of land and the most amount of ocean so "water dinos" will also be pretty good way of transportation. We also have Shadowmane and Bloodstalker added + both Strucutres+ and Steampunk have teleporters, that help getting from place to place.
2. All meangiful dinos have been balanced. What does that mean? Their defense and damage has been changed to be on par with other dinos from their group. This means f.e Raptor will be on par with Carnotaur when it comes to DMG and HP. On top of that the avarage Defense and Damage was also raised by 2.5 so everything will be much harder to deal with "on foot". All of the dinos will be "end game viable" and you can pick whichever you want to use (or whichever has most usefull abilities) instead going for the ones that have better stats. Groups are: Small Herbivores, Large Herbivores, Small Predators, Large Predators, Water Dinos and Titans (currently only Giga in this group)
3. All Loot Beacons have been changed. Every item that can have better quality can be found in Beacons now, but they were also spreaded across all beacons semi-randomly. This means to target farm f.e Flak Set you will need to look in all beacons because each color has only one part of it.
4. Unlimited Element. On the center of the map (50.50) there are few boxes with thousands of element that you can take whenever you want. I decided to add it because some of the TEK stuff would be pretty nice early on, while in end game (when you finally get it) its not that usefull/interesting anymore. Also building bigger TEK base is pretty much out of option for solo player normally.

Recently my friend (we are both female) who lives on the other side of the world came to my country to stay for a month for the first time in 6 years. I told my boyfriend that when she comes I would love to travel somewhere with her.
So when me and my friend finally met up we quickly made plans where to go, 3 days we will spend in a town nearby and 4 days in another city (there is a 2 weeks gap between the trips). I’m pretty flexible with my work so I just needed to let my workplace know about it.
On my way home I call my boyfriend (we are both in late 20s) and start telling him about the plans with my friend, but he gets upset because I didn’t ask him before making any plans. He says that me going away will somehow interfere with us as he won’t see me for that time (We don’t have any kids). Also apparently in his culture(South American) it’s also strange to travel without their partner, especially without asking. He said that if I asked him if I can go on the trip he would have said yes. He thinks that when I don’t ask him it is a statement and that he doesn’t have any say because I already made plans without asking.
We have been arguing about it for the past few days. He did apologised for overreacting and so far our argument concluded with that I should ask him “Do you mind if I go ….” And he will say yes.
But for me it’s really weird to be asking for something like this. Maybe I overreacted? Should I apologise? AITA?

Why am I bothering with this half-assed reconciliation with WS? This isn't what I want. I know how I feel. I know my mind. The love I once had for him is gone. Our marriage had been built on a foundation of his lies and half-truths. Just the thought of him moving back into this house and us living together makes my skin crawl.
The complicating factor is that I am disabled by chronic illness. Try as I might, I have not been able to earn a living wage. My health significantly limits my ability to do so, despite my best efforts. And I have researched to death resources and assistance. I qualify for next to nothing. I make just enough to not qualify for help, but I don't earn enough to qualify for and pay for an apartment (all I have found require that one earns 3 to 3.5x the rent per month). I'll be flirting with poverty for the rest of my days; I'm almost 50. I have no support system here at all, having moved here only a few years ago, and I absolutely can't afford to move back to my home state. And no, I do not have family members who are in a position to house and subsidize me, nor do I expect that.
I feel like all of my choices are bad choices. But I also know I don't want this marriage. It's better to face poverty and potential homelessness than to live like this, though, right?

My dad is 50M and extremely overweight, I don’t know his exact weight but it’s to the point he struggles to put his shoes on, can’t walk very far anymore and struggles to stand up from sitting on a low couch. He had a kidney stent fitted in 2016 but the operation went wrong due to his weight and the stent leaks so my dad is on a constant low dose of antibiotics ever since to prevent recurring UTI/kidney infections and sepsis.
My dad had to go to the emergency room on Friday morning as he felt so unwell and he has a history of UTI’s and sepsis, he ended up in intensive care 6 years ago with sepsis from a UTI and he has had sepsis around 3 times. But this is the first UTI/hospital trip he has had in years since being on a low dose of antibiotics. On Thursday night he didn’t sleep all night because he was freezing cold, sweating through his clothes and soaked through the bedsheets, he had a fever, and his blood pressure was 210/78 and he said he thought he was actually dying, so he went to the hospital at 6am. They did a blood test and ruled out sepsis and told him it was a UTI and gave him a weeks worth of antibiotics and sent him home within a couple of hours of going in and told him to go back if he gets worse.
He has 1 day of antibiotics left now and he says he feels much better than he did, however his body temp has been reading very low for the past 3 days. The most recent reading this morning is 94.1f. But he doesn’t feel cold, he said if anything he feels hot. The thermometer is working fine as two other people have taken their temperatures and they’ve both been 98.6f.
He’s phoned his doctor but the receptionist said there are no appointments today. Is this temperature anything to worry about if he feels ok?

All of the dinos will be "end game viable" and you can pick whichever you want to use (or whichever has most usefull abilities) instead going for the ones that have better stats. Groups are: Small Herbivores, Large Herbivores, Small Predators, Large Predators, Water Dinos and Titans (currently only Giga in this group)
3. All Loot Beacons have been changed. Every item that can have better quality can be found in Beacons now, but they were also spreaded across all beacons semi-randomly. This means to target farm f.e Flak Set you will need to look in all beacons because each color has only one part of it.
4. Unlimited Element. On the center of the map (50.50) there are few boxes with thousands of element that you can take whenever you want. I decided to add it because some of the TEK stuff would be pretty nice early on, while in end game (when you finally get it) its not that usefull/interesting anymore. Also building bigger TEK base is pretty much out of option for solo player normally.

Me again hahaha. Aurora has some weird thing that’s unlike other puppies. She simply does not come to me!!!
She’s doing great in her training, but at a point where she still needs treats most of the time. She knows the “come” command, she comes, but on day to day life she doesn’t!
She sorts of run from me (I don’t run after her), stops and then let’s me pick her up. Is this normal in shepherds? Since I know they are a more skittish breed.
Like I said, she knows the “come” command and is great at it, but at home when I’m just like “come here, let me check something out”, she just looks at me and does a whole ass circle until I have to get up and pick her up. She’s not scared, not always thinks it’s play time… She just does that normally.
And tips for barking, I am taking them! Hahaha. I trained the talk and quiet command, but now I have to reinforce it, for how long should I do it? Too much barking I also redirect with toys if the quiet command doesn’t work. But she’s doing great so far, problem is when I leave home.
