Guacamelee! for the most part hits every mark I prefer in gaming. Addicting combat, treacherous platforming, excellent humor and a well designed Hard Mode. My biggest complaint is how forgettable and unispired the boss fights are. I have played the sequel by the way.
Nothing has come close to it's quality other than Castlevania: Symphony of the Night which has shown it's age in the combat department unfortunately. I also enjoy the other Castlevania games.
Metroidvanias of today usually consists of the same problems. The boss fights are great but the level designs are bland or vice versa.
I think many concepts have incredible potential however always suffer from back pedaling instead of heading into something new or at least ambitious.
Two other metroidvanias I thought were pretty good was Forged in Shadow Torch, Shovel Knight and Tails of Iron.

As the title says, going to be a very eventful summer for me. Looking for awesome people to get to know over the summer and hopefully make new friends. I like to think I’m pretty outgoing and caring. I would love getting to know you and your hobbies. I don’t mind if it’s a short conversation or a long-term conversation type of thing. I just wanna make the most of it. I have quite a few different hobbies ranging from photography to movies reading, and art. If this sounds interesting at all, feel free to send me a message. Why would someone spend time to do this? So immature. He still follows me my family and my friends but doesn’t want anything about me on his profile. He randomly checks my friends’ stories. But why would someone (26 year old!) do this after 4 months, this feels so childish.
First he deleted pictures after I deleted them, 2 months later he muted me, a month later he started hiding his stories and another month later he deletes my comments on his posts. Why not just block me then? Cherry on top, he reached out a month ago saying how his life is miserable without me and tried to get back together but left 2 days later again cuz he freaked out. And a month later he does this. He is the avoidant type and he is changing his whole personality right now. Is this an action to try to forget about me because if he didn’t care about me at all I guess he wouldn’t take the time out of his life to do this? I’m so lost and confused.

Negative feedback never feels great of course but I understand why it’s important and I’m glad I work for a company that takes it seriously. I definitely think I could have done a few things differently on the day but a lot of the feedback was simply inaccurate or not reflective of what happened on the day. In a feedback session, a few people essentially said I wasn’t there for the event - when I clearly was. Not only was I there, I stayed 3 hours late even though I wasn't having the best day. I was gone for an hour of my lunch break which is when people had some problems, so I think this was the issue. Other comments were that the office was dirty (I was constantly cleaning up after people) and that the (free!) food I provided not being catered to allergens well enough - honestly I know who this (one) person was and they’re a bit of chronic complainer - but this time they had a meal that suited their requirements (just not the type they wanted) and when I asked if they wanted me to order more to get them what they wanted, they said no. Senior management jumped on this feedback and talked to my manager to increase my meetings with him, to ensure I’m being ‘watched’ more, and to make ‘requirements’ that I be in the office for events - and I hate that this has all come from feedback that was NEVER verified or discussed with me. I’m happy to make adjustments to ensure the next event runs smoother but I don’t like that it only took few complaints for them to completely negate the 15+ other highly successful events I’ve put on and the extra work I put into this event that went unnoticed. I don’t know whether to keep my head down and just do better or raise a complaint about how the feedback itself was processed (this reactivity without verification is a common theme in my company).
I feel like I run the risk of just sounding like I was butt-hurt by the negative feedback itself, rather than that it wasn't verified because inducing consequences (which is my real issue). Would they really chastise members of senior management over a complaint from an events manager though?
It's also complicated a bit because my manager shouldn't have told me it came from senior management, and if I complain, they'll know he told me (we're friends). What would you do?

I get that paying (cash) for a cabin upgrade is completely non-refundable, and you're pretty much out of luck if you need to change your travel plans, meaning, you kiss those dollars goodbye that you paid for the upgrade.
My question is whether the same is true when you go through the "Change Flight" workflow. As an example, if I have a Premium Plus round-trip itinerary and want to change the return to Polaris, and I go through the "Change Flight" workflow to pick the Polaris/Business return, is that "change" (or, worse, the whole itinerary) in the same unfortunate situation as having done the cash upgrade? Or is it more akin to any other purchase (from scratch), which is to say, if you're 1k, you can make changes for free (paying the difference between the old/new fare of course).
Hope my question makes sense.

Mazzulla- he certainly has done a good job these last 2 games but that’s only by his standards otherwise he has been dead average for the last 2 games and horrible for the previous 4 that being said I don’t think we should fire him even with a game 7 loss and I also believe a lot of his struggles are also due to being a rookie coach without any really notable assistants.
Smart- Although he has had his signature stupid turnovers in the clutch he has really stepped up his scoring to average about 15 to fill a void that brogdon white and brown have all left at different times throughout the playoffs. He has also made some clutch shots and his shooting as a whole as gone up during the playoffs
Brown- guys let’s not forget how good he was during the Atlanta series and how his massive first quarters kept us alive a lot of the time in those phile games so while he has Had a rough series so far and probably isn’t worth wait we are probably going to pay him I’m not quite ready to label him as a choker or give up on him at all
Tatum- Guys he is a fucking superstar I don’t care he has had some consistency issues so far especially in that Phile series but guys come on he has kept us in this heat series and won us game 7 against Phile
Al- I’ll be honest I’ve been disappointed with him his 3 ball has not been falling outside of a couple games which has made him a complete offensive liability and at times he has been a defensive liability but that can be chalked down to Joe’s terrible defensive schemes at times, but all this being said he has had highs such as some great D against Embid and some decent shooting so far against Miami
Brogdon- he has been playing hurt throughout most of this heat series so I won’t use it to evaluate this although he has been awful. He was great against Phile and his shooting is just so good same can be said against Atlanta he is deservedly the sixth man of the year enough said
White- he had a rough couple of games against Phile but outside of that he has been great especially in game 5 against the heat and really throughout the whole atlanta series
Timelord- I cannot state how massive of an impact he has had while on the court when he was thrust into the starting lineup against Phile his presence under the rim really helped to shut down Embid and throughout the miami series he has been a great burst of energy. Also he would have been even better had mazzulla just played him more but whatever
Grant- his professionalism throughout not just the playoffs but the whole season can not be understated he acted like a true bro through being removed from the rotation in the Atlanta and phile series and has bounced back right back to have a massive impact against the heat and even when his shot isn’t falling he has been great

Hi I've been reading the main X-men titles starting with the Bendis era in 2013. I've read that era (Uncanny vol 3, All-new vol 1, Amazing X-men, Wolverine and the x-men...) up to Uncanny #600, which came out in November 2015. So after that I start reading Extraordinary X-Men #1 which came out on the same day as Uncanny #600, but it feels like a lot has happened in between and I'm just a little lost. Is this just a narrative jump that I'll understand as I continue to read, or is there some necessary series that I missed? Do I need to read Secret Wars? I'm also confused how the terrigen mist problem seems to have jumped out of nowhere (in the x-men comics at least) to being an immediate killer threat in Extraordinary #1. Any help sorting this out would be greatly appreciated!

ruined my skin big-time; now my anxiety is massively triggered and it's making me feel like it's the worst possible thing to have ever happened to me.
i'm still trying to calm down. got a chemical peel 5 days back, made a series of absolutely god-forsaken terrible decisions while my skin was in a SUPER vulnerable and sensitive state; and all my online research (which i terribly regret doing looking back) all point to the possibility of "permanent skin damage" through the 2 things which i did:

1. the peel my dermatologist used was supposed to be washed off after 6-8 hours - which i completely forgot to (even though she specifically told me to). i slept with it overnight and only washed it off next morning. twice the length of time i was supposed to pit it on for.
2. this is the worst one yet. i typically double-cleanse my face. i first use micellar water on a cotton pad to remove all the oil-based impurities and then typically follow it up with a normal gentle cleanser. on the immediate days post my chemical peel, i continued to follow with this routine - not realising that i was tugging and rubbing my face with the cotton pad. not particularly the after-care i was supposed to follow post a chemical peel.

right now, my mind is absolutely going PARANOID. it's triggering my body dymorphia a bit; making me check my phone/mirror every once a while and making observations about my face looks darkedamaged than before. somehow, every single time i check my face - i feel like my brain is actually making it true (don't know if that makes sense?!)
alright/aside from the rant, is there absolutely ANYTHING that i can do currently - that can help minimise the damage? or is this one of those "only time will tell" type-of situations which require me to put a wholesale ban on checking all types of cameras/mirrors for a few days and just wait it out?

The idea is... I will make the characters in advance, give them their motivations, and then let ChatGPT improvise all npc interactions in a D&D one-shot. There are two problems that I can foresee.
The first is that I need to have ChatGPT ready to go with a description of each character so that when the players turn to Brunhilde the Barkeep, it can respond as her. I could create a separate conversation for each character, but there are a lot of characters even in a one-shot session, I might need to create new characters on-the-fly based on what the players do, and each of the characters will need to know the context of the situation. So I am thinking of creating a spreadsheet with premade prompts to prepare ChatGPT for each character, unless you guys can think of something better.
The second problem is situational context. ChatGPT likes to lose the plot after a bit, so I need a way at the start of each conversation to tell it "here is generally what has happened and what is going on right now". I can't think of any easy way to do this other than to be manually retyping these sentences as events happen. I will be DMing with a friend. I will be in charge of the ChatGPT and npc interactions, and he will be in charge of all other DM responsibilities, so this solution is possible, but not ideal.
Any ideas or thoughts? Please let me know. We really want to make this work!
TL;DR: I need a way to setup ChatGPT at the start of each conversation with the description of the D&D npc character that the players are talking to, a general idea of what has happened, and a description of what is going on atm, so that ChatGPT can respond as the characters in a D&D one-shot campaign.

I wrote this nice PowerShell module, PasswordSolution, in the last couple of months. It has two functionalities:

• analyze active directory passwords (today's topic)

The feature to analyze active directory passwords utilizes the DSInternals PowerShell module and provides HTML-based reports around its output, making it nice and pretty, ready for management.
By running the command (yes, it's a single line, after installing 2 PS Modules):

Show-PasswordQuality -FilePath C:\Temp\PasswordQuality.html -WeakPasswords "Test1", "Test2", "Test3" -Verbose -SeparateDuplicateGroups -AddWorldMap -PassThru 

It will create an HTML report and analyze password hashes of all users in Active Directory, find duplicate passwords between user groups, and finds who's using weak passwords provided along with several other problems around passwords hygiene:

• DuplicatePasswordGroups
• DuplicatePasswordUsers

Just kidding. Don’t just stop there - put some thought into the post. How does this new find compare to other products on the market? Do they have potential? You don’t have to be an expert QCer, but give your general thoughts. In short, were these worth finding? The hope is that with this general subreddit policy, it will encourage people to post high-quality finds and reduce clutter from low-tier finds that don’t add much to the group.
Rule #6: Be Respectful of One Another
Please be nice and courteous to one another. All rules of Reddiquette apply. Your membership in this subreddit is contingent upon your overall Reddit activity, not just limited to this subreddit. Link reference posts, rep vs retails, QCs, etc. Show, rather than tell, us why what you're saying is correct. If your statement is a good one, this shouldn't be difficult. As above, don't default to name calling if you can't support your statement. It is okay to have a well-informed opinion - it is not okay to have an uneducated opinion that you spread as fact.
If you run into issues with a member or members in the group that are not participating in this group norm, please tag a mod, and the situation will be handled accordingly.
Rule #9: No Seller Ads
Self-explanatory. This especially applies to lost middlemen posting their fake QCs to try to gain business. If you are a member and see this, please report the post. If a post receives enough reports, it is automatically removed and sent to the mod queue. This helps keep the group clean through community effort.
Rule #10: No WeChat Verification Posts
I understand that you may want your WeChat verified in order to communicate with sellers or see their WeChat Moments. There are other subs for WeChat Verifications though. Please do not make these posts here. Use the appropriate subs. Posts will be deleted.

This group aims to be a research-focused subreddit. It prides itself on providing the most objective information possible. Please keep the memes or satire posts in other subs. Hi everyone. I’m (F31) getting married in a month, I have been with my partner (M 32) for half a decade. I do like commitment and stability, I care for my partner, but the weight of the idea of marriage is suffocating me with each literal second it approaches. I want to run and hide, I want to change my mind - the problematic middle child in me. I can’t actually commit and I’m very deep into mourning losing my individuality over being happy for a marriage. Maybe that’s selfish.
At this point, I can’t cancel the wedding. Technically, I can (I can do anything), but I am unwilling to do that, it causes me a lot of stress. I know some of you may just ebb toward advising to cancel or asking why I said yes or planned it all, but trust me - I can’t not do this. I’m more of a “do the thing and navigate quietly after” girlie. I appreciate you may handle it differently, but know I’m unsure both ways. I don’t want to detonate my life, I just want time.
I’m not sure is the main theme. I’m not sure I want to be married. I’m not sure I want this exact relationship for life. I’m not sure I’ll be a good wife. I’m not sure if this is a typical me-response to panic and run when faced with big decisions. I’m not sure I want my partner “forever”. I’m not sure I want to live in the city I’m in, or even the country I’m in. I’ve been so busy planning this damn wedding, but I feel like suddenly it’s for real and now I have a few weeks to decide my entire life.
I need advice on this one strange specific thing: as I’m proceeding with the wedding, can I just not file my signed marriage paperwork after the wedding. Can I just do the event and work with my partner in quiet peace afterwards to determine what’s best for us? I know our officiant may not be down with this, I might have to get a stand in to be a faux officiant. None of our guests will know that we won’t file the paperwork (and to be honest, we might! I just need post event clarity here to focus on the relationship). I’m also not sure if we file the papers or if the officiant does). If we want to marry later on, elopement will be perfectly fine. But I’m really in a heightened period of stress right now, at having to be sure of it all in a month. Knowing I’m 100% on everything in just a few weeks. Has anyone ever been in this situation (couples, officiants, venue coordinators)? For context, I live in Ontario, Canada. I don’t think annulment exists here (it does for very specific situations*).
Literally, can I fake getting married. I’m down for anything, signing a piece of construction paper, finding a fake officiant, literary anything. That’s the whole question.
Also yes - I have discussed this with my partner, he doesn’t share the same worry and he’s very much in favour of proceeding. His whole MO is - we’ll be fine and whatever you need, whether it’s moving or changing, I’m open to that. Bless him he’s really agreeable - but it just still feels like too much uncertainty for me, to legalize something when my only predominant thought is maybe no. I’m scared you guys. Please be gentle, this fucking sucks.

Gigabyte RTX 4070 Windforce Brief Review:
Great card with very strong cooling for it being the "Budget" or Msrp version of gigabytes lineup. I have done a bunch of testing with this card and although you can get a good overclock using MSI afterburner, I will provide results below, I will say it's generally not worth it in real world application/gaming. Although 90% of games ran stable, I ended up having problems while benchmarking cyberpunk where no matter the settings, I was getting nearly identical results of 57fps with bad render latency and micro-stuttering.
It took me a long time to troubleshoot the problem and it turns out the GPU monitor built into MSI Afterburner can cause stuttering and performance issues in some games, but once I uninstalled Afterburner and restarted everything was fixed. In AAA Story Games I am consistently getting 100+ fps with ultra settings and if I lower things to High I tend to get 120 fps+. I am using the 4070 with a 34' 3440x1440 Monitor, so I am sure it could easily handle 4k as well.
I paid $750 CAD ($560 USD) and it came with Diablo 4 $80 CAD (Which I was already intending on buying as Diablo is one of my main games) so that brought the total down to $670 CAD ($500 USD). The reason I count Diablo 4 as a discount on the total price is because I had already pre-ordered Diablo 4 and I was able to return that cost from Blizzard (You can upgrade the standard code that comes with the RTX 4070 to premium if you still want early access).
I was going to upgrade the AMD 3800x in my system as well but from testing the 3800x has not bottlenecked the RTX 4070 at 3440x1440 resolution and therefore I will be returning the 5800x3d I purchased for $360 CAD ($260 USD). I plan to just wait it out and eventually upgrade to AM5 as prices keep dropping.
Overall I am really happy with my purchase even with all the fear mongering around VRAM and 12Gb to not be enough going forward, but for the price to performance this card really brings it. The other major selling point of this card is the size and power consumption, most of the last gen cards are too big for my case Icue 220t Airflow (Manufacturer GPU Clearance 300mm - Max GPU clearance 314mm - Max GPU Clearance removing middle front fan 324mm). Here in Canada the used market isn't as good as other places in the world and prices of last gen new cards are still more expensive than current gen 40 series cards.
Biggest Con from switching from AMD to Nvidia is Geforce Experience and Nvidia Control Panel being two separate programs for no apparent reason, AMD Radeon Software is much better in my personal experience. The price to performance for AMD is clearly better and I would of went with AMD had it not been that their last gen cards are too long and power hungry for my current case/psu. I would say it's worth upgrading if you can afford it and you are coming from something low end like myself (Radeon 5500 xt 8gb) which I paid like $300 CAD for 3 years ago.

Test was run using the 3D mark demo from steam in 3440x1440 , I also tested the system in all three unigine benchmark software, and in multiple games (10-30 minute tests) for stability at these settings in afterburner. Anything above these setting I would get crashes or complete freezes. Highest Gpu Clock 3060 MHz.
