Morning y’all! Lately I’ve been considering applying for the postal service, luckily I’m in a tri-state area with several local offices hiring around me for the position of rural carr assoc/srv reg rte.
What are the pros and cons of this job?
The hours and continuous work days are really a non issue for me, currently employed at a factory and used to the 12 hour days, 5-6 days a week.
Honestly it’s the pay that’s getting me to want to apply for it.
Currently making around 13.85\HR
any input, positive or negative, will be greatly appreciated.
TIA

PRESENTING PETITIONS Daryl Harrison (SaskParty) 10:07:02
Petition against the NDP Liberal federal government infringing on rights, calls for Sask First policies etc.
Meara Conway (NDP) Petition to increase SAID rates for people with disabilities. Budget only gave them $1 a day. She reads a story about a recipient who is struggling to eat - at that point the SaskParty starts to heckle her, Speaker interjects and told her to hurry up.
u/10:49:40 The Speaker stops to tell Conway that she broke rules during the petition; she has to be brief and not make an argument or finger point, which he says she did by citing the increase in SAID.
Jennifer Bowes (NDP) Petition to prohibit conversion therapy as a discredited and abusive practice.
Erika Ritchie (NDP) Petition to protect provincial water supply. Cites 79 precautionary water advisories and 2 boil waters. Cites a SUMA resolution to investigate the impact of agricultural chemicals on municipal water supplies. Also mentions the affects of illegal crop land draining threatening ground water.
STATEMENTS BY MEMBERS Response to Provincial Budget 10:13:14 Nadine Wilson (Independant, running as Sask United) Scolds the government for giving themselves a pay raise while people are struggling. She says “Growth that works for no one”. Calls for meaningful tax cuts and rebates, put people before politics.
The NDP gave applause.
SaskParty heckles her; Don McMorris shouted something that I can’t make out, Paul Merriman made a hand gesture like a talking mouth and shouted something about a coalition. *Note he came in late for statements as well just before this clip.
Global Change Required to Meet Water and Sanitation Crisis 10:14:$6 Erika Ritchie (NDP) Talks about water advisories, some dating back several years. Cites Manitou Beach having toxic blue green algae in their lake, causing financial suffering. Related to UN world sustainable goals.
Observance of Ramadan 10:16:30 Muhammad Fiaz (SaskParty) Announces Ramadan, talks about muslim religion.
Purple Day Supports Epilepsy Awareness 10:18:04 Vicki Mowatt (NDP) Announces Purple Day
Z99 Radiothon for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Gary Grewal (SaskParty) Talks about Z99 radiothon for neonatal care.
Saskatchewan’s Record Population Growth Terry Jenson (SaskParty) Talks about population growth in the province. Takes credit for the work done. Brings up NDP in 2006 when the population was shrinking.
\NOTE also with the lowest retention rate of migrants, and the highest outmigration of the province.*
Responses to Provincial Budget 10:22:33 Ken Francis (SaskParty) Talks about the budget yesterday and how great it is. Notable, the U of R president was happy and said it was as expected.
\NOTE: They are in talks with University of Regina Faculty Assoc about cuts. Their president was in the Leg Mar 9 saying the exact opposite, and the minister said he was meeting with her after the session.*
QUESTION PERIOD Provincial Budget 10:24:04 Carla Beck, Trent Wotherspoon, Vikci Mowatt (NDP) vs Scott Moe, Don Morgan, Donna Harpauer, Paul Merriman (SaskParty) Cites a recent poll that 55% of Saskatchewan people are worse off this year than last, asks how the premier can fail to deliver any relief to struggling families. Has a $2B windfall and only gave tax increases, citing PST increases and the expansion on where it’s charged.
Moe says he is proud of the budget, and it resembles growth “that works for everyone”
. (He cites increases in funding, but they’re all near or under inflation, I didn’t fact check any, but at those numbers they can’t be increases). One of the items he is proud of is the $1 a day increase for SAID recipients. He then attacks the NDP for a 9% PST.
\Note: anyone new to the province or to politics, the Grant Devine PC government that was the predecessor to the Saskparty nearly bankrupt the province which ended up in them being voted out, and a few members criminally charged.*
Affordability and Cost of Living Trent Wotherspoon (NDP) vs Don Morgan, Donna Harpauer (SaskParty) Wotherspoon says that families and small business are struggling with a once in a generation crisis, and the government is doing nothing but tax and rate hikes. Morgan calls the NDP irresponsible, has no credibility, and is standing with their leaders Jagmeet and Trudeau who are tripling the carbon tax.
Wotherspoon mentions again that he is criticising the federal government, and again calls for PST hike rollbacks. Harpauer claims we are the cheapest province to live in and defends the budget saying that they have increased in many areas where the increase doesn’t meet the cost of inflation.
\Note: Jagmeet and Trudeau are in fact not the bosses of the provincial NDP. The carbon tax rebate increases with the cost.*
Support for Health Care Vicki Mowatt (NDP) vs Paul Merriman (SaskParty) Mowatt says that hospitals are near collapse, cites SUN president in regards to the issues, and asks Merriman to address. Merriman cites some dollar figures and the number of workers coming in (the provincial auditor has ruled that these are not enough positions). He passes this all as success. Mowatt calls his answer shameful, nothing to cover family doctors, no new supports for costs, team based care, or problems with the current model, and accuses them of giving up. Merriman says that they are looking at future solutions. Mowatt says that doctors have told her the new doctor compensation doesn’t work, and doctors are leaving the province as a result. Merriman says he rejects the question, while the NDP heckled, I couldn’t make out what they said, he says the NDP is running down health care workers (which is clearly not true) if you listen to the entire exchange.
Funding for Education Matt Love (NDP) vs Dustin Duncan (SaskParty) Quotes president of Sask Schoolboard Association who call this budget falling short, investment that is needed, doesn’t even cover their inflationary expenses. Quotes Sask Teachers Federation president.
Duncan cites the numbers in the budget, defends it, compares it to $1.94B more than the NDP earmarked, then accuses the NDP of being against the education workers.
\NOTE: The last NDP budget ended in 2008, and didn’t have P3 schools to pay for - this is a poor comparison, and doesn’t include the per student cost or outcomes of education - all of which are worse.*
Tax Rates and Provincial Budget Nadine Wilson (Independant) vs Donna Harpauer Says the province is citing a huge surplus, asks why the province didn’t decrease taxes on the people in the province. Accuses the province of taking credit for the surplus, but it’s from increased taxes and resource prices. She says they are profiting on the plight of the people, and calls for them to even reduce the PST 1%.
Harpauer cites natural resources being high right now and volatile. She then says that she is copying the NDP cut and pasting their talking points. She then says that she doesn’t know what to say, then says it’s an indication of a strong and resilient economy.
I don’t understand the position, her two ideas seem to conflict. \NOTE: Volatile natural resources are the basis of crown corps that bring revenue to the province, like Liquor Board stores for example.*
POINTS OF ORDER First point of order was the speaker talking about Conway’s petition earlier, and info is in that section.
Jeremy Harrison (SaskParty) vs Nicole Sarauer 10:50:22
Says that Wotherspoon called finance minister as boned-headed. As asks him to stand, withdrawal and apologise. He cites a 2017 Hansard decision.
Sarauer says that he called the tax bone-headed, not the minister. The Speaker will review the record.
ORDERS OF THE DAY MOTION FOR APPROVAL OF BUDGETARY POLICY (BUDGET DEBATE) 10:52:00 Trent Wotherspoon (NDP) Wothespoon calls the budget out of touch, a government flush with cash who isn’t helping the challenges that people and business are facing. Goes on to call them disrespectful to the health care sector, doctors, teachers, education.
Cites closed hospitals, long wait times in ERs, people can’t get family doctors, addictions problems.
Attacks that they threw in the towel on equalisation, and calls it a fight that shouldn’t be let down.
Talks about internet access in rural and remote areas asking them to make it a priority and scrap the increasing dividend from Sasktel.
Cites producers being left out of proper compensation rights. Mentions that they delayed despite the NDP and federal government pushing.
Beef herds are in decline and products are being imported while families are losing herds that have generational lineage.
Calls for investigations into meat plants and their anti competitive practices.
Calls for work on the carbon tax to stop the burden on agriculture, and the NDP wants them to exempt grain drying and compensation for being stuarts of the land.
Ends in thanking the people and the workers of the wonderful province, and encourages everyone to work towards a bright future, and being squandered by the government.
Reverts to the previous complaint about the use of boneheaded, and agrees to retract it, and replace with the following: does not approve the budgetary policy of the government because it fails to provide cost-of-living relief for families, fails to make needed investments in health care and education; and further, that the Assembly has lost confidence in the government.
Lori Carr (SaskParty) calls for point of order 11:13:26. Says that Wotherspon referred to the minister of trade and export development the minister of jobs.
Wotherspoon stands up, says he’s perplexed but apologises.
Vicki Mowatt (NDP) Talks about smugness in the house when talking about important issues in our community, and even towards guests that were in the room. She says people are noticing and they need to do better. She cites conversation with people in her riding worried about loosing their homes, and there’s no relief from the province in sight. Talks about hospitals being closed, some on bypass with only a note on the door that it’s closed, a baby being born on the side of the highway. And no real meaningful plan. She says that their constituents are calling the NDP offices as well, so she doesn’t know how they can continue with 32 new taxes and fees.
Premier has worst jobs record in the country, he’s flush with cash from potash and oil prices due to the war, and still no relief. 20% of Sask kids are living in poverty, and they have pet projects like the Sask Marshalls, Sask Revenue Agency and the finance minister fires up the jet to go for lunch.
Cites the health system near collapse, and the auditor has told them they are 1000 workers short, and they call it the most ambitious plan in the country in a display of arrogance.
Calls for health care support. The doctors are being forced to be business owners when they just want to provide care. The nurse practitioners asked for a ‘grow your own’ to let them work in the area that they live in, the government won’t address them. Said that the Regina General being closed was referred to as business as usual, ebbs and flows of the service while ignore solutions being provided by health care providers.
She talks about meeting requests like the one in Delisle where the providers asked them to all come, but the saskparty doesn’t show up and listen. Instead he says he meets people on the way home that he talks to (this is true, it happened several times this month in fact.)
Cites headlines about investment into mental health and addictions while those issues soar in our province without significant targeted investment or speaking to the professionals.
Socials services benefits haven’t increase in 8 years, and now they’re given a dollar a day. The Saskparty heckled her at this point. She cites it’s offloading the costs to municipalities and creating more homelessness and claw back benefits.
Says we have the worst job record in the country, but the Saskparty brags about those numbers. Their economy ranked last with a GDP shrinkage (we were the only province that experienced that, citations in earlier synopsis;) And being made worse by putting PST on construction.
Worst retention of people in the province (citations in previous dates as well, statcan has all this data).
Schools are organising bottle drives to continue, and the increases don’t even meet their previous needs let alone inflation. The Saskparty heckled this.
Fights that the budget doesn’t have targets or timelines.
11:36:54 Speaker rules on ‘boneheaded’ comment, tells Wotherspoon to withdrawal and apologise, then asks the Saskparty if they don’t have anything better to do than points of order.
Ken Frnacis (SaskParty) 11:37:28 Opens up with a joke that the NDP obviously hasn’t taken a tony robbins positivity course latley. Praises the minister of finance. Makes more jokes about the ‘longest serving opposition member’ was feeling very empowered by the crowd (referring to Wotherspoon). Says no wonder the confidence was redlining because of the support of the media. Goes on to make more jokes. Says that the NDP is by extension talking down the people of Saskatchewan, make some bad jokes about socialism and he feels bad for them. Cites eye rolling of the crowd at Wotherspoons tone about crissi after crisis every day (he is referring to a speech about cost of living crisis and hospital closures), and the tone will be better from the Saskparty side. He says that they will get their feedback at the polls, then there is shouting and an interruption.
From the verbatim @ time stamp 11:43:25: This is shocking
The Speaker :
Like, really. You know, I caution the member. Some kind of threatening gesture? Give me a break. I mean, come on. This is where it gets back and forth where it’s unacceptable. Give me a break. I mean, come on. This is where it gets back and forth where it’s unacceptable. The pointing, you know, I mean, please. Please refrain from those types of things. Come on. And that’s for both sides, too. I mean, come on. I recognize the Government House Leader. Hon. Mr. J. Harrison: — Just seeking clarification, Mr. Speaker, on your ruling — I’m not sure if that was a ruling — on whether we can use hand gestures . . . The Speaker: — Sorry, you’re challenging the Speaker. Do you March 23, 2023 Saskatchewan Hansard 3425 really want to go there? Do you really want to go there? Yeah, you want to go there? Okay. I want the Government House Leader to stand up, withdraw, and apologize. I recognize the Government House Leader. Hon. Mr. J. Harrison: — I withdraw and apologize if that’s what the Speaker . . . The Speaker: — Sit down. I recognize the member from Kindersley. d that’s for both sides, too. I mean, come on. Ken Francis continues.. Attacks them saying it’s all fear and smear just like their federal ndp liberal coalition, a negativity vortex. Says that the statistics show that they’re doing well, and the NDP is saying they will make cuts but they won’t (where’s the liquor board store Ken?).
Goes on to call rural Sask the spinal cord of the provincial economy, excited for the future, agribusiness is working hard to fight the federal government on a new deal. Goes on to cite all the massive 10%+ increases in those areas, oil and gas potash, etc. and how their 9 trade offices (the ones Harper runs globally) are bringing more revenue. He says that teh biggest threat is environmental policies from the federal gov that the NDP are backing (they aren’t… they said that several times in this sitting alone).
Goes on to talk about socialism, protectionism, a bunch of arguments that aren’t even valid. I won’t waste my time synopsis of the rest of this speech, look it up if you care to hear what he says.
Scott Moe (SaskParty) 12:00:15 Talks about paying down deficit, the pandemic cost us $1B he says even after a generational drought which he calls sustainable investments. He claims second lowest debt to gdp in the nation. He praises the budget and keeps calling it sustainable - he doesn’t want to fire nurses and doctors because of resource revenue fluctuations. Goes on to say that he’s bringing in 1000 physicians etc etc.. these are all future state items that I can’t fact check. He relates a lot of these items against 2007 when the NDP was in power. Goes on to justify the pet projects lie the Marshall Service. I stopped recording it all because he isn’t providing data, he’s just making claims without citation of any kind, and most it things they are doing in the future.
Marv Friesen (SaskParty) 12:39:31 Praises the budget for no new taxes. Cites disagreement in the room debating in the treasury board and committee meetings, which he thinks is important to get the best decisions and outcomes. Critical of the NDP calling them tired and out of touch, and says he is tired because he’s in touch with his riding.

(He doesn't cite how the trade office impacted this, the international trade agreement was signed federally during the Harper era.) Cites uranium discussions being had.
*Note: This sounds a lot like the premier and his people are salesmen for ag companies at taxpayer cost including $250,000 to Harper himself. I'm open to being corrected on this.
1:55:58 Terry Jenson (SaskParty) Cites Saskatchewan has the highest growth of export in the country at a 56% increase. Note energy and agriculture use decreased greatly over pandemic restrictions. If someone provides the StatCan information I'll update it here for an accurate picture.
Debates
1:57:25 Vicki Mowat (NDP) debates Everett Hindley (SaskParty) Government failing on womens health. Babies can't be delivered in Meadow Lake and have to drive hours. Cites Kendal Carlberg giving brith on the side of the road. Asks why they won't support rural healthcare. No access to eppidurals overnight in Moose Jaw. Points out the provincial auditor has told them their plan isn't enough.
Hindley acknowledges that this is unacceptable, and seemingly downplays as 'this happens time to time'. Himself and minister of health are meeting with SHA and trying to recruit. Hiring contract RNs, and has a 4 point action plan and is taking active measures. The tomorrow plan isn't disclosed.
2:01:02 Vicki Mowat (NDP) debates Donna Harpauer (SaskParty) StatCan shows we are dead last in job and economic growth. She cites the premier's strawman argument that the NDP blamed farmers for GDP decreases. She cites a SaskParty letter to APAS Agriculture Producers Assoc of Sask that said farmers are too stupid to understand the budget process in 2021. If anyone has this article, I can link it and fact check.
Harpauer cites a Conference Board of Canada article that says Sask will lead growth in 2022 and 2023. She ignores that we already hit last place in 2022, but is basically saying this year is projected to be better. Says we are leading in a number of fronts, she has faith in the people of Saskatchewan, and she will continue to believe Sask is the best place to grow the economy, which pays for the services. Despite saying nothing substantial, she claims this is growth for everyone. She uses alternative facts language, refuses to respond. There is a trend of the SaskParty using Republican/American phrases like this. She goes on to cite statistics, even though they are verifiably last place.
2:04:19 Erika Ritchie (NDP) debates Jeremy Harrison (SaskParty) Ritchie cites RBC report that says we struggle to put newcommers to work. Qupte Saskatoon Chamber Commerce "the current framework is clumsy and cumbersome..isn't doing what it needs to do, get skilled/credentialed people to work. Claims we have worst immigration retention rate, most are gone within 5 years.
Harrison attacks the NDP, says no credibility and claims Sask is leading the country. We aren't, and StatCan proves it. He then defends the process and says it's working and best in country. He doesn't really address her questions, attacks the NDP pre-1991 governments immigration record.
2:08:09 Jennifer Bowes (NDP) debates Paul Merriman (SaskParty) Addresses abortion service access. She says health minister was considering changes bu has done nothing in one year. Promises made and not kept. Meara Conway comes back in and says it's sad that he's citing the one SHA reoganization that happened many years ago. She isn't wrong.
Merriman says he respects reproductive right access. It's identified as an issue, and they will have a tomorrow solution. Cites the SHA is forming into one region.
2:10:33 Meara Conway (NDP) debates Dustin Duncan (SaskParty) Day three of asking for details of $10 a day child care in Saskatchewan, for which the SaskParty seemed to take credit. Cites access to care as being even worse in rural Sask. She attacks the equalization lawsuits that were abandoned against Ottawa, the gives a zinger - federal counter parts said jump, they said how high. Funny, but not that productive. She wants a plan that they are using to address the space issues.
Duncan cites the closing budget year gave $61.738M provincial dollars, $17.456M on the first bilateral agreement from feds, $5M as a one time workforce agreement, and $203M he is acknowledging from the feds. He doesn't explain the plan going forward (it should be in the budget). Then claims he is rescuing those dollars from Ottawa. His plan is to provide free tuition to early childhood education students, and did a wage enhancement up to $5/hour depending on training. Cites grants for start ups, and is working on a wage grid. (Helpful, but again, reactive tomorrow solutions).
Nicole Sarauer (NDP) debates Bronwyn Eyre (SaskParty) Cites highest rate of intimate partner violence and homocide in the county for several years, second highest rate of sexual assault . Says we are one of only a few provinces no funding second stage shelters. She wants to know why it's taing so long. She wants a gender based violence stratgey. She accuses the SaskParty of photo-ops an taking federal dollars and wants them to sign on to the national action plan.
Bronwyn states that they are committing to funding those shelters. She says that they already are funding them, cites $24M and more to come. She states that the minister for Status of Women is working on these fronts is in New York working on this issue. She cites MMIW and other speaking that they've done on this front. She doesn't cite results, but says work is ongoing, including a hotline, and they're considering the joining the national strategy. A tomorrow solution.
2:21:09 Betty Nippi-Albright (NDP) debates Gordon Wyant (SaskParty) Cites false indigineous ancestry claims, Turpel-Lafond ad Bourassa. She is against self identification claims, wants action.
Wyant states he takes the claims seriously, cites the UofS and UofR removing doctoral degrees and creating policy. He addressed the two specific examples, but doesn't address a plan going forward, but she didn't press him on the issue.
2:22:57 Jeremy Harrison (SaskParty) vs Bowes (NDP) Called out Bowes for calling Health Minister Merriman washed up and out of touch as a zinger, calls it a Breach of Decorum. She apologizes.
2:23:46 Nicole Sarauer (NDP) vs Jeremy Harrison (SaskParty) Called out the Minister of Finance for using pharses such as 'alternative facts' today and yeterday as being unparlimentary. Harrison stands up and refuses. The Speaker is taking this under advisement.
Ministerial Statements 2:24:40 Don Morgan (SaskParty) States access to high speed Internet is no longer a luxury, and critical to modern society. He praises SaskTel for being one of the best providers in the world. Announced 48 communities that will receive fibre access. He spins it as a 'rural internet access' project, but it in in fact a federal iniative and federal funding.
https://ised-isde.canada.ca/site/high-speed-internet-canada/en
2:27:45 Trent Wotherspoon (NDP) Agrees that Internet is not a luxury, especially for rural and indigineous communities. Praises SaskTel as being so valuable. Cites the government raiding massive dividends from the crown instead of letting them grow and making it a higher priority. Cites the SaskParty recently trying to sell off the crown. This is verifiable. Weakly, he totally misses the federal requirements.
Presenting Reports by Standing & Special Committees 2:30:37 Leaf Cutter Bee Keeping Registration bill passes.
Orders of the Day 2:32:54 Trent Wotherspoon (NDP) Child and Family Services Act. Calls government action failures costing potential of young people in the province. Cites SIS Sask Income Support, homelessness, isolated familes due to elimination of public transport, especially children and seniors.
2:37:20 Nathanial Tweed (NDP) Accessible Sas Act. States critic is in consultation on this item, cites the STC closure as continuing to have a dramatic impact on accesibility, services, health, familes and jobs.
2:39:30 Erika Ritchie (NDP) Local Improvements Act. Cites details on definition of local improvements projects is being removed, and no longer required the Sask Municipal Board to approve notices. She has consulted municipalities, and brings their concern for loss of checks ad balances, as well as exemptions for levies applying to school boards. She continues to consultation with these concerns, and notes many municipalities were unaware of these propsed changes.
2:45:40 Erika Ritchie (NDP) Local Gov Election Ammmendment Act. Gives power to polling places for returning officers, not school boards or municpalites to avoid improper influence. Returning officers emergency powers to change dates and locations. She brings consultation feedback the streamline efforts are good, especially to improve municiapl voting turnout rates. Disappointed the date for municipal elections wasn't changed, despite SUMA clearly asking for it so they can be flexible and use the date best for themselves.
Background sidenote: this has been a contentioius issue, and rural/urban leaders are divided. The issue is that local and provincial elections are within two weeks of each other. Urban cites confusion between elections, volunteer shortages and possible winter storms. Rural cites they want a conssitent date.
Source: https://thestarphoenix.com/news/saskatchewan/rural-and-urban-governments-split-on-moving-sask-election-dates
2:52:32 Vickie Mowat (NDP) Police Ammendment Act. Accuses government of paving the way for Saskatchewan Marshalls and spending instead of consulting existing policing. She hasn't been answered why this is necessary. Accuses them of Americanized tough on crime instead of addressing root causes in society.
2:55:47 Nathial Tweed (NDP) Provincial Protective Service Act. Cites concerns from public at how big this government is getting and the $20M price tag for a new Marshall Service. Asks why RCMP haven't been consulted or better funded, they are already set up to do the work and have asked for the funding. Acuses this as being a conservative ideal instead of public interest. Lack of consultation. This is a trend of the government defunding and destroying. Cites Thatcher, convicted murderer, being invited to throne speach. Wants to address poverty, disparity, equity, mental health, homelessness.
3:02:20 Meara Conway (NDP) Pension Benefits Ammend Act. Claims it gives extreme powers to investigators, and they are consulting and taking a close look. (If anyone has details on this, I'm intersted and will link).
3:04:38 Nathanial Tweed (NDP) Trespass to Property Ammend Act. Says the gist of the bill is 'feds don't trespass on our land'. Analysing this is continued legisaltion agenda to divide, distract and a spat with the fed government. Cites how quickly they acted on a saturday afternoon when the feds are testing water for the betterment of society. Reminds SaskParty that these workers are Sask residents, and creating fear, ffecting livlihoods and it's irresponsible. Says they shoudl act quickly on poverty, finding doctors etc. Adds that website showing available doctors has been taken down. Cite worst economics in the country for 5 year. Cites breaking down treaty rights of hunting and fishing.
3:09:54 Nathial Tweed (NDP) Plant Health Act. Cites that this is in conflict with the trespassing act because it allows pest control officers to go anywhere except inside a private dwelling. There's a lot of shortcommings on this bill.
3:12:55 Matt Love (NDP) Sask Firearms Act. Says he is mostly in support of the bill, but there is a failure to consult. He says it's the same mistakes the federal Liberals made, and he wants consultation before moving forward, particularly indigineous and metis.
3:16:14 Matt Love (NDP) Warrant Compliance Act. Says NDP supports the act in principal but says the exection falls short. He cites a news article where the Minister of Corrections (Christine Tell) gave an interview and said this legislation “creates an
intelligence team which will be comprised of a number of people
from government or enforcement, probably Social Services.” He calls this wishy washy, and doesn't invoke confidence that it was well thought out. Cites that removing benefits from people with warranty can have impacts on their partners and children, and affecting vulnerable people, citing more investigation is needed.
3:20:32 Trent Wotherspoon (NDP) Misc Statues (Health Professions) Act. Critic is attending committee, consulting health workers and patients. They're concerned about training and retention in the province.
3:22:47 Matt Love (NDP) Sask Revenue Agency Act. Refers to this as a mess, notes the SaskParty is chuckling. Says no one has asked for this, it makes life tougher for people, business and government. They didn't cite this idea before the last election and have no mandate to do this. Cites that consultation was only done behind closed doors with separatists. Acuses them of spending money on prioerities that don't matter to sask people.
\Note: the consultation with separatists refers to taxpayer funded private meetings held by Allan Kerpan and Lyle Stewart (SaskParty) that they called "Autonomy Meetings". Several people asked to be involved but were denied.*
Kerpan, former federal MP, current interim deputy leader of the Maverick Party, the same one as Tamara Lich and others arrested for crimes during the convoy. He's the spokesperson for the Wexit movement, but claims not to be a separatist. He's also closely alligned with Brad Wall, who helped set up the Buffalo Party, and was advising convoy separatists. 3:26:09 Vickie Mowatt (NDP) Alcohol & Gaming Reg Ammend Act. States NDP is in favour with the modernization of this bill. Inc. recorking, allowing municipalities to make decisions for themselves. They are working with stakeholders in the consultation proces.
3:28:35 Matt Love (NDP) Cannabis Control Ammend Act. Cites on board with changes, esp concerning indigineous communities. Needs to hear more comments from debates.
3:31:00 Trent Wotherspoon (NDP) Summary Offences Procedure Ammend Act. Mentions critic is engaging with first nations and other stakeholders.

2023.02.03 23:46 LIGuy631 Job offer for Rural Carrier Assoc./Serv Reg RTE in FL
Hi, Folks. I was a PSE Clerk for a few months, but had to leave for medical reasons (I was on medical LWOP for 2 months and finally just ended up resigning). I relocated to a different part of the State for my treatment and I am now fully healed. I have been looking to re-enter the postal service and I've been applying to nearby positions. One of them is the position listed in the title. The job description was vague and trying to get a hold of the contact person listed in the job advertisement proved impossible (by phone and by email). I was given a conditional offer today, but before I accept, I had some questions:
- I can't seem to find if this is a full-time position or if it is like a PSE spot - as needed. I don't know what "Reg RTE" in the job title above means, so maybe that answers that question, but I'm not sure.
- I know rural carriers use their own vehicles, but does the vehicle actually need to be registered and insured by me? I sold my car to pay my medical bills and have been using my mothers. She's elderly and no longer drives. Could I use that or would I need to register it in my name? Not a big deal if so.
- This will be in Pinellas County, FL, a very busy area, so I am even surprised they have rural carriers. If I am indeed going to be part-time, how long, generally, can I expect until I'm given a regular position?
- Are rural carriers given a guaranteed amount of hours or are they strictly on an "as needed" basis? I want to work my 40 hours, but I can't leave my current position if they're going to turn around and only offer me 10 hours one week.
Thank you, guys. Hope you're all doing well and staying safe.

Hello, I was offered and accepted a CCA position a few weeks ago, just now I was offered a Rural Carrier Assoc/SRV REG RTE.
It's my understanding that I can accept this new one and decline the one I've previously accepted as I haven't started working yet.
Could someone offer some incite to what this associate position really means?

2022.02.24 20:42 youcantaskthat I applied for a job as a “RURAL CARR ASSOC/SRV REG RTE” and should have the job when the background check finishes!
Problem is I haven’t interviewed or talked to anyone except the fingerprint guy. Everything said it’s a driving route. Is that true? Is there any chance it’s not a driving route?

2022.02.08 04:24 PaPaPatman Potential RCA question
I'm about to go in on Friday for orientation. My question is how can I find out prior to starting if I'm going to be required to use my own vehicle? I'm asking because if I have to use my own vehicle I might not take the job. The position is "rural carrier associate/srv reg rte 3."
