As I get older and more weary of the "No one's ever really gone!" trope, I've started to notice how rare it is for a hero to take a straight path towards death in the Buffyverse. More often than not they are immediately resurrected after their first death, only to die permanently later on anyway...
Buffy: Was killed and resuscitated in Prophecy Girl. Died again in The Gift and resurrected again in Bargaining. Xander: Never died. Willow: Never died. Giles: Never died. Cordelia: Was killed and resurrected in The Wish. She died and was resurrected at least once more in ATS, before dying permanently in You're Welcome. Angel: Killed in Becoming and resurrected in Faith, Trick & Hope. (YMMV on whether Liam dying and being resurrected as Angelus also counts.) Death was implied at the end of ATS. Joyce: Died in I Was Made To Love You. Was resurrected then returned to the grave in Forever. Jenny: Died once! Oz: Never died. Faith: Never died. Wesley: Never died... in BTVS. (I think he only died once in ATS, but he was strongly implied to be dead at the end of one episode and I'm sure he must have required resuscitation!) Spike: Died in Chosen and resurrected in TAS. (YMMV on whether William dying and being resurrected as Spike also counts.) Death was implied at the end of ATS. Anya: Was killed and resurrected in Selfless. Died permanently in Chosen. Riley: Never died. Tara. Alright, she only died once, but she was lobotomised and that was undone! Dawn: Never died. Robin: Died once! Andrew: Never died.
...So what do you think of this trend? Is it some kind of Final Destination-type deal where Death has your card marked, or is it just slack writing? :P

Hope you guys use your dreaded RATINGS weapon in a Considerate ways...
Tips are not Mandatory anyways but if you decide to tip lower due to above factors then please think again...
There could be so many other missed out factors which other shoppers could share here...

Can anyone taking spearmint tea share if it helped with reducing oiliness on the face? I went through Reddit and hardly found any topics on this, most are on hormonal acne. I am aware this is very much ymmv but would love to hear more before I commit.

one of the many great things about this game is there are so many metas, based on player count, player style, player competence, and which expansions are mixed in.

For me, at 2P vs an engine obsesses wife, I've always been a Terraform rusher and think the game at 2P just works best with base & prelude, no expansions (apart from maps) and not even promos. The most dense deck where terraforming isn't buried. YMMV.

There are so many creative ideas for expanding and customizing the game, here's a list of the things which appeal to me and which I'm "working on" (I mean I have notebooks filled with scientific research articles and publications and ideas for how they might get into a card in the game), please share your "wishlist"

These are not specifically in order

1. generally, extra cards or features that enrich terraforming. To me, rushing makes the game run a reasonable length, without overstaying its welcome, without it getting out of control, less card luck influence and less likely to be decided early on but drag on for far too long
   
2. cards linked very tightly to a real scientific idea or concept, so using real science that would theoretically be possible and also reasonable in terms of viable to scale up to a production scale item or idea, considering how a realistic political/economic/scientific environment would work (aside: I am a physicist)
   
3. extra maps / milestones / awards, yes I know the ones we have are designed as complete ideas and I know the designers are not fond of mixed bag/variable M&M, but personally for me I am most gutted that the customizing mars kit on gamecrafter got pulled the day I had it in my basket :( Variable milestones and awards are cool (driven by a ruleset that avoids clashing/incompatible combos) but a jigsaw style set of pieces to make a variable map would be amazing (again, I understand the designers specifically want Mars to be Mars - in which case, lets take some different projections of Mars (not yet shown),and combinations like half Tharsis/half Hellas etc.
   
4. More interaction but not necessarily "take that". Now, don't get me wrong, I like the attack cards and also understand their position in balancing or competing against specific strats. My wife didnt like them at first but has grown to see how they are needed. And interaction is good (also the THREAT is often as effective as the action, which is why tempo moves to convert plants, or not leaving energy you need for a city hanging etc, and managing global parameters is important). But I'd like to see more "Leeching" style interaction, more cards which give you something if someone else does some other thing. Philosophically more cards like Arctic Algae where some other player would do some terraforming type action and you would get some related bonus.
   
5. More board placement. I like when placing tiles is more important in terms of claiming areas, blocking areas, messing up areas for other players. Perhaps some cards which "seed" stuff onto the board as bonusses which could then be claimed etc. I also think it would be interesting to be able to move some tiles in some way (throwaway idea like paying something to "relocate" a city, or rerouting an ocean. Also tiles which would make placing other tiles or greeneries, oceans etc easier (or harder)
   
6. Common events. This is kind of just pulling in ideas already in the game, so it would be something like Turmoil with a display of coming events (which in my head would be mostly terraforming stuff) which affected parameters or locations but wouldnt benefit any individual player, they would provide a kind of modifier to the game clock I suppose.

I've always struggled a bit with the Fey, especially now that they can be Player Characters. Personally, YMMV, but if I'm playing a Fey PC I want them to feel different to my Material Plane characters in a fundamental way but it often just gets portrayed as a kinda forced randomness, or infantalised petulance/mood swings, or stealing from allies etc
Youtuber Pointy Hat made an interesting point in their last video that one way to look at the Fey is that they aren't just random, they have a logic/morality/code but it's just different to ours.
So I'm wondering what some examples of that might be? What are they like at your tables? No wrong answers

2023 has been a pretty tumultuous year in Stardom. I thought I had a bead on Rossy's booking tendencies and then he went buckwild and changed every title at All Star Grand Queendom. YMMV, but it was pretty great and I have no idea who's going to be the next champion of any title at this point. However, lately it feels like there's emphasis on starting non-title feuds and storylines.
Are there any non-title feuds you think are coming up? Overarching storylines that transcend the house show multi-woman tags? I'll start with a feud that I think is being built right now.
Hanan vs. God's Eye is going to be a thing. Mirai and Hanan have crazy chemistry and Mirai has even called Hanan out and said it's a battle of future Ace vs future Icon. For this old Chicagoan it really feels like Mirai is the Detroit Pistons to Hanan's Michael Jordan.
In my opinion, Hanan was the definitive Future of Stardom Champion. She lost to God's Eye's Ami Sourei, who in turn lost to Rina, Hanan's little sister. At New Blood 8, Hanan and Hina fought to a draw against the Inaba sisters, who are God's Eye affiliates and probably future full-fledged members.
I think there's a good longterm feud there! Hanan has legit beef with Mirai, Ami, and Tomoka. Despite being in different units, her sisters have legit beef with God's Eye too! Hina vs. the Inaba sisters in a judo vs. karate story and Rina vs. Ami who are both low-key the coolest in their units. I admit I'm coming at this from a "western" point of view, but I'd be turned up for a trios match between the sisters and God's Eye.
Any non-title feuds you would like to see in the near or far future?

I will be finishing up my degree soon and was going to write an overall comprehensive review and include this. I will just post this now and then re-include it when I write my review/thoughts on the program overall.
This was by far the most difficult exam in the program in my opinion. All the Comptia exams kind of built off the previous and you could make your way around the exams without feeling completely lost. Pentest+ was different, the previous exams will help you very little. The things you really have to know are the commonly used tools and what they do. There is a lot of them and there are bunch of questions like “which tool would use for this?”. NMAP commands and syntax (very heavy in this), SQL injection/XSS types and deciphering vulnerability logs. Make sure you have a semi decent grasp on SQL in general. ALL the different types of attacks that are commonly used. There are some that came up that I did not come across in the book. If you know the main/commonly used ones, you should be ok for the most part. Learn scripting! You will not need to write any per se, but you might as well learn because there are questions where you need to decipheinterpret various scripts and therefore need to know how to write them. Make sure you know the different syntax. For example, know how an array is written in PowerShell (there is a question in the exam where you will need to figure this out). Learn the common commands for PS, Bash and Linux. There was a couple questions having to do with common HTTP methods. There were not really any law/legal questions. Definitely do not need to focus on that. You also do not need to focus on memorizing acronyms. There werent many that I came across aside from the ones having to do with contracting (SOW, ROEs, MSAs, etc...). You should know them anyways if you had just done the Managing Cloud class. The PBQs were medium difficulty. From what I remember, they were as follows (in no particular order):

1. Mix and match: You will get like a single line of script (or payloads rather) and you have to pick what kind of vulnerability it is and then you need to pick a method of remediation. Need to know your scripting and various types of sql injection. This is critical. There will be like (10) of these you have to do.
   
2. Scripting: On the right, there will be a block of incomplete scripting. On the left, you will have multiple options of code snippets that you will need to use to plug into the incomplete areas of the code. The code is prewritten for you. You just need to place the right snippet in the correct blank spot where the code is incomplete. There are twice as many code snippets then there are blank spots so you can’t just use the process of elimination. You kind of have to have some sort of clue. Also, the code might be in Bash, Python or Ruby. You have to be able to tell the difference.
   
3. NMAP Interpretation: You will get a block of an NMAP scan result. Like above, you will have a bunch of options on the right hand side. You will be asked to put together the correct NMAP command to get the results shown in the scan output. Part 2 is that you will need to also pick the trouble areas (attack vectors) based on what the scan shows. There will be a list of options for you to choose from.
   
4. Investigate Login Page: You will be given a login page of which you can view the certificate, source code and cookies. You will need to determine if any of those 3 things have issues. If they do, you will need to specify and provide a solution.
   

The Sybex book is by far the best book for this course. I did not care for the Sybex books in the other courses. Finding a good video series was difficult. Im a total Seminars fan, but this one did not do it for me. I hate the Dion materials in general and I’ve tried others on Udemy and Youtube and none of them were doing it for me. I just ended up not watching any video series. Another great book worth a look is Pentest+ for dummies, but it doesn't have any advantages over the Sybex book. Lastly, you must spend time and do labs to understand the concepts. You’re really shooting yourself in the foot if you don’t. Look into tryhackme.com as well. This was the first Comptia exam I failed. I took the exam 3 days after registering for the class after a quick review. I thought I would be ok and I wanted to quickly get it over with. I found out in the first 10 questions and the PBQs that I was very underprepared. I took the test again 9 days later and kicked its a**. YMMV and you might get a very different version than what I had. Thats all I got. Good luck.

Hey, so I currently have a bald/thinned spot on my crown about 3 inches in diameter, and it's probably the biggest source of physical dysphoria for me currently. It's not completely bald, I've got thin hair there, but you can clearly see my scalp, unless I'm in a dim room or something. I've been on finasteride and minoxidil for about 6 months now, it's helped some already, and I think that I'm still seeing some level of improvement.
I'm not on HRT yet, but I have a gender clinic appointment in 10 days, yay! I've heard mixed things about hair regrowth from HRT, a lot of YMMV, so I'm planning on talking to my doctor about it, but I am prepared for the possibility of needing a hair transplant someday. That said, I figure I probably want to give the finasteride, minoxidil, and HRT a chance to help me before getting a transplant? So I'm not sure how long I should realistically wait before thinking that I'm not going to get any more mileage out of them on that front? I don't want to wait forever, since wigs are uncomfortable, and I want to be able to swim, ride rollercoasters, and live a generally active lifestyle without worrying about my wig falling off, or feeling dysphoric. But I also don't want to screw things up by getting a transplant too early.
Another point I'm not sure about: I heard that sometimes body hair can be used to supplement a hair transplant? Is this only in cases where hair loss is more advanced, or should I try and save my body hair for this? My hair on the back of my head is actually pretty thick. I ask this, because I have my first laser hair removal session for my face next week, and I also want to get rid of my chest hair, but I'm worried about the possibility that I'll be missing out on using it for a transplant? I'm dysphoric about my chest hair, but not nearly as much as I am about my scalp, especially since I can keep my body-hair covered most of the time for now.

Whenever I generate an initial image that I like, I prefer to make small tweaks via settings/extensions and rolling the dice again while maintaining the image’s composition. I prefer not to spend a lot of time inpainting. There are so many little tweaks that we can use. I’m hoping we can all learn a new idea or two by sharing our favorite tweaks. These ones are for use in A1111 Webui.
Let’s say you just generated an image you like and only want to make small changes to see if it can be improved. Here’s my noncomprehensive list of tweaks that I like to use. I’m sure I’ve missed plenty and one was probably released during my typing of this post.
Starting with the basics and moving forward:

• Sampling method
  • You might get some small changes, but I usually don’t bother with this. Certain samplers will generate a completely different image.
• Increase/decrease steps
  • Can help change details, but generally not with ancestral samplers
• CFG Scale
  • Tweak this up or down for small changes. Too far and you’ll get a different image. Extensions like Dynamic Thresholding can let you go much higher without the overexposed look.
• Change the weighting of words in your prompt/negative prompt
  • Prompt All-In-One makes this easier
  • Negative Prompt Weight makes tweaking the weight of all negative prompts and at once very easy. Great way to make small changes to images.
• Variation Seed
  • In A1111 click on the “Extra” checkbox next to the dice/reuse seed buttons. Choose a small number for “Variation strength” like 0.05. Go too far and it will be like a new seed.
• Img2img
  • Obviously there are tons of ways to tweak an image after sending it to img2img. The Loopback script can produce variations quickly.
• Upscales
  • You can use different upscalers to scale up and even back down again to change your image.
• Restore faces
  • This can make small changes to faces though I usually don’t like the output
• Hires.fix
  • You can use this in a lot of different ways. If you scale it 2x and try varying denoising strengths you can get a higher res similar image. Want to get crazy? Upscale by only 1.01x and denoising to 1 . This can change the image in subtle/not no subtle ways, such as b/w -> color.
• ControlNet
  • There are many ways this can be used to make small changes. In txt2img try using your current image as an input image for the preprocessor and model such as canny.
• Contrast/Brightness
  • Add a lora such as EPI_noiseoffset to get a darkebetter contrast image
  • Play with the CFG rescale setting from Neutral Prompt.
• Self Attention Guidance
  • SAG is a really cool and easy way to change details in your image without changing composition.
• Different VAE
  • You can try a different/no VAE with your model. I don’t use this but it’s there.
• Anti-Burn
  • Haven’t used Anti-Burn but it looks interesting.
• Clip Skip
  • Some models recommend using this but YMMV. The changes can be minor to major with this setting. Check this post for how to add it to quicksettings.
• Sonar
  • Haven’t tried it but it’s here.

Posting a where I saw current stock, YMMV

I noticed after installing and playing that the taskbar icon for D4 was a blank white square.
 
Conditions for this happening:  

• Windows 10 64-bit
• Played in one of the D4 betas / had beta client installed
• Uninstalled D4 beta client
• Installed release client

 
Fix:   Exit (don't log out, exit the actual app) the bnet client and D4.
 
Hit Windows key + R, type %AppData% and hit Enter. The Appdata folder should open up. Do a folder search (right side of the menu for the folder window) for Diablo IV.
 
You'll see Diablo IV.lnk file in the search results. It will be located in Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer etc. Delete that file.
 
Restart bnet client, restart D4, it should display the D4 icon properly. YMMV if this doesn't work for you, then it's a different issue than the link file pointing to an old install. (Note: This won't harm your installation, because re-starting D4 / launcher will just generate a new .lnk file if it's missing.)

I've seen a lot of complaints about this, but not a thread that offers an easy solution. (The Spotify Community threads are awful.)
Problem: You have Spotify open on multiple devices and use Spotify Connect. Fine, right? That's what Spotify Connect is for! But when you try to listen, Spotify only plays for a few seconds and then pauses. You unpause, and it pauses again. You try listening on the other device, same problem.
Underlying issue: Your listening device is connected to both devices. So Spotify is getting signals from, say, your Bluetooth headphones through both your phone and your laptop.
Solution: You don't have to force quit Spotify on the device you're not listening on (but that'll fix it too). But you do have to temporarily disconnect your listening device from the device you're not listening on. (e.g. disconnect your Bluetooth headphones from your laptop if you're listening on your phone). I find that I can even reconnect again and the problem will be resolved. But usually I just leave it disconnected until I need it again.
