Iftar time today

My (Secure leaning anxious) ex (FA) broke up with me a month ago after an argument. We hung out for a bit and were flip flopping which just caused immense anxiety to me and was a brunt to my self respect. I was angry that he broke up during a time I was unwell, had lost a job and was dealing with other issues. I just couldn't get myself to continue and entertain him without knowing what our boundaries were. He would reach out as and when he liked but when I wanted the same, it became about me seeking something 'more' when I really wasn't. I finally decided to take space and told him I needed time to move on because being told he didn't want to lead me on just felt disrespectful.
I communicated this with him two days ago. Today he video called me and I impulsively picked up. He didn't say anything. I was just there quiet and later told me he's going to sleep and I should continue doing whatever I was doing.
Now I'm so confused??? Why is he reaching out? Why can't he communicate what he feels? Why should I have to read into his behaviour?
I feel horrible for picking up that call. I don't want him to have access to me.

I was GM'ing a game today, and one of my players just says what they'd like their PC to do and then goes ahead and makes a roll for it, assuming that A) what they wanted to do was even roll worthy and that B) they knew what type of roll I would ask for. I found it quite obnoxious and wanted to call them out on it, but didn't want to make a crappy vibe at the table so let it slide. But they've done it a couple of other times as well. In addition, this player has a tendency to crowd myself and some of the other players out a bit by talking over people (we play online via mics), so I am wondering if I have a problem player on my hands or if I'm just being a bit too sensitive?

Today I assembled a PC using GIGABYTE B650M GAMING X MOTHERBOARD GIGABYTE 850W GOLD PSU AMD cpu+graphics card
This was my second time building a PC (first time was 7 years ago) so I hope i didn't damage something mysellf.
Everytime i plug in the source cable and switch on the power supply, Blue light flashes once in the area that is circled. The flash seems to be right under those 2 circular parts(rezistors?). imgur link: https://imgur.com/EGQeeVc
After I turn the pc on with powerbutton I hear a click and nothing happens, not one LED control turns on and fans also won't start spinning. I tried repeating the steps without GPU and CPU but everytime I get the same result Can the motherboard or powersupply be damaged? Not sure what to do anymore, I am thinking about taking it to the PC repair shop but then I will have to wait too many days so I want to try fixing it myself first

Hi! I'm temporarily homing a kitten and have her for another week. She has started suckling on my spayed dog today, twice. She's definitely latching on as her nipple is red after. The dog was confused about it, but seems fine. She even gave her better access the second time. She has never had puppies, but did have a heat before she was spayed. The kitten is currently 10 weeks old so it isn't particularly worrying on her part, but with a week left to go, do I need to worry about this with my dog if my dog is happy to allow it? Dog is a labrador if relevant for any reason!

I've been running a 25-camera Blue Iris deployment for home surveillance, both indoors and outdoors. After getting through some initial learning curve, which I had expected, I've found it to be a solid piece of software – quite reliable.
Since my son was born 14 months ago, I have been using the Blue Iris iOS app as a baby monitor. There's a camera pointed at his crib and the camera is integrated into Blue Iris. My wife and I both set up the Blue Iris app on our phones overnight to monitor the baby camera. While the app is in the background, it continues playing the audio from the camera, which is really handy. There are a couple of small shortcomings that can be worked around:

• Using Siri on your device kills Blue Iris background audio and doesn't bring it back. We just have to be careful to restart Blue Iris audio before going to sleep – no big deal.
• If the phone plays back any other audio, it kills Blue Iris background audio and doesn't bring it back. Again – we just have to be careful to restart Blue Iris audio before going to sleep.

However, in very rare cases (happened two-three times in 14 months), the Blue Iris background audio playback seems to just stop randomly. I don't know if the app crashes in the background or something else happens. In the middle of the night today, both my phone and my wife's seemingly disconnected from the Blue Iris server at pretty much the same time. Blue Iris server logging shows both devices disconnecting within 2ms of each other. I'm guessing there may have been some network event that caused both apps to die for some reason, though none of my other network devices exhibited any issues. Due to this problem, my son was basically unmonitored for about 4 hours overnight. As you might imagine, failures of this type aren't acceptable for my usecase.
I'm curious whether other people have attempted to use the Blue Iris iOS app in the same way and what their experiences have been. Are there other apps that you've used that can turn Blue Iris streams into reliable baby monitors?
I think the problem is that the Blue Iris app isn't really designed for this kind of a use-case. Ideally, a baby monitor app would make a valiant effort to reconnect and resume the audio playback and then if that fails, alert loudly to make sure parents are aware of the loss of observability. I'm thinking of building such an app myself over a few weekends, so let me know if that'd be something that interests you.

So two weeks ago one of my rabbits sadly passed away because of a sudden seizure and his brother seemed quite sad about it. But after a bit of time he started to get better and started living normally again even if he was a bit more shy without his brother. But suddenly one of his ears have flopped over and I noticed how crusty and frilled it looked. I tried looking it up to see what could be the cause and I believed it was stress. I calmed down and kept an eye on him until yesterday I realized that it looked like fungus was on his ear and nose as well. I got an appointment set up for my bunny tomorrow since they aren’t open today. I tried making sure he was ok by even giving him his treats that he loved most since he hasn’t eaten normal food at all since.. maybe 4 AM? He left a lot of stool in his cage which.. strangely helps me calm down since they don’t look like sick stools but, he won’t even eat his favorite treats now and his water looks untouched. But I catch him bouncing around and being active sometimes, just hiding for the most part. I know he has to be sick even if his stool doesn’t look like it, but what could be wrong and what should I do?

Growing up I swear all the strays in my city knew where to come for a meal and a pet.. and a home if they wanted. The amount of times I’d say “mom there’s a new cat in the window!” and then end up with it in my bed a few weeks later.. We had 12 cats and a dog at one point. I remember getting so excited whenever they were all in the same room. I moved out with my cat a few years ago and lost him a year later. My dad had his one final buddy, Madison left. I visit with my dad and Maddie every Sunday and she was almost instantly on my lap as soon as I sat down. She was 16 and he couldn’t find her last night for dinner. He called me over for a search party and we found her, already gone behind a chair. What an empty feeling this is. Kiss your babies an extra time on the head for my dad and I today please. Cherish every fur.

I was on a walk around my neighbourhood yesterday and was walking along a bike path. Most people walk this path and it is a very common area for people to walk their dogs as it is off-leash. I walked past a man as we were walking opposite directions and he had his off-leash dog trailing somewhat far behind him. When I was about to pass the dog, it seemed very excited and ran right up to me and bit my elbow . Not sure what breed it is but it was a medium to large sized dog. I stepped back, panicked, and the dog did let go but was still eyeing me. I'm not really sure how much of this interaction the owner saw as he was not that close by but I took out my headphones (which are completely noise cancelling) out after the dog let go of me and I heard the owner yelling "What are you doing? Come here!". The dog hesitated for a moment but ended up obeying the recall and left. I don't know if the owner apologized since I couldn't hear but they did not come check on me. Thankfully, the bite did not break or scratch the skin but just left it a bit red for maybe 15-20 minutes after and today it is mildly sore. The whole interaction left me a bit frazzled as I have walked this path many times and have only ever encountered friendly dogs or dogs that act like I'm not even there. My mistake was immediately walking away after but since the dog did not bite me hard enough to actually injure me and it seemed more playful than aggressive, I didn't want to make a big deal of the situation. Looking back, I should've asked the owner for information just in case. I know chances are low but I'm a bit concerned about rabies since I do not know this dog's vaccination record. I live in Canada (specifically Alberta) where rabies in dogs is quite rare, so I'm sure its likely fine especially since it didn't break skin.. but does anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed? I feel like it is nothing to worry about but I'm a natural worrier! I also have no clue how I would find the owner of this dog to ask for information.

Hi all,
So I have a pretty basic understanding of my issue with drugs and alcohol but how do you cope with the people around you? Family, spouse, friends etc. I feel pretty much alone in this fight for sobriety and today my girlfriend was on the phone right beside me talking about potentially drinking among other things and I just feel that trigger to want to join in on it.. I understand that I’m supposed to own my own feelings but what do I tell myself when others around me aren’t exactly caring for my sobriety as much as I wish they would. Any advice would be appreciated.. I’ve been trying to distance myself from those friends and family who drink on a regular basis. It’s about all I know to do at this time in my life.

My best friend is in the second abusive relationship & I don't know how to deal with it anymore.
So, yeah, that's basically the point of it. My best friend (f 28), after finally getting out of her last abusive relationship, is caught in another.
We're friends for well over 7 years now. We've met when she was still in the relationship with the other guy (they have a kid together). I didn't really interfere too much in that relationship, besides a once in a while, carefully placed "don't you think you deserve better?".They were together since 4 years, before I even met her, so i always felt like it's not really my place to judge.
Since I know her they would break up & get back together again almost every other month... After multiple escalating incidents (him hitting her & apparently the kid too), she finally left him for good.
It was a hard time for her, but after months or so she finally agreed that it was for the better.
She was single for a while, like a year or 1 1/2 until she met her current... I don't even want to call him "partner"... Anyways. The first time I met him I already knew, I don't like him, he's not good for her, she'll end up in a similar situation. So I told her. " I don't think this is a good idea." She AGREED WITH ME!! So I didn't think about it anymore, because he'd be gone in no time, right? Wrong!! A few weeks later she tells me "oh, were together now". That was the second time I told her "I don't think this is a good idea".
But who am I to tell her what to do and don't do. So I left it at that. When I visited her, I anyways tried to be nice, even though I hated his guts.
November last year, I get the message of her hand with A RING ON IT!! Nothing else. Just the photo. That was the first time I sent her a looong message, telling her WHY I don't think it is a good idea & that I really don't like him. I was so afraid that my message would destroy our friendship..!!
She was quite stunned, but we got over it, talked about it and got back to how it was before, besides the fact that she now KNEW I really don't like him & why. With many things she even agreed with me!!!
A month ago she called me, crying, telling me they broke up. I didn't even hesitated & drove down to her (it's a roughly 5 hour car ride for me) to support her. She told me a lot about what happened, for example that she ALREADY KICKED HIM OUT OF THE HOUSE 4 (!!!) TIMES in the last half year!!! But he's basically guilt tripping her into letting him come back. She agrees with me, and yet can't find the strength to kick him out for good. Because she is so terrified of being alone. I lend her money, she "owed" him, so he wouldn't have that as a reason to stay in touch.
Today i found out (she didn't even tell me) that they are back together again. (So i asked for my money back, from him. But this whole rant is not even about the money, it's just an additional puzzle piece)
Anyway, I really don't know what to do at this point anymore. I am shocked how much this effects me, as my heart rate goes up, when I just hear his fucking name! My boyfriend just tells me "don't worry too much, it's not your relationship". And I know he is right, but still, this is just getting out of hand. Why does this bother me SO MUCH. It's this normal? Or is this already unhealthy? & how should I deal with it??

I'm very new to the game and have several questions about the game.
1) What items to keep? i know it's way too general but...i have 1 build (actually as of today, 2 builds) and whenever i max out my inventory i have no idea what's worth keeping for maybe some other build i might need. so i end up putting everything in recalibration library and then dismantling everything else for materials but i'm not sure if that's correct strategy.
2)How does optimization work? So let's say i have backpack in library with max crit chance (6%?). I tried getting my backpack that had 3% CHC and used optimization, but it literally only went to 3.2%. Is it just "luck" how many times you're gonna need to use it to max it out or? Not sure how exactly that works.
3) Today i finished some beginner level Heartbreaker build. Every guide said to use acs12 shotgun to build up stacks so i assume every pellet from the shotgun counts as a stack (so it would be like 4-5 per hit?) but my heartbreaker bar fills so slowly that i'm not even sure if that's how it works. Also i think that build requires skill because i'm playing on challenging and getting my ass handed to me.
4) What is this number i see on agent profiles (attached pic)? First number is SHD level, but i don't recognize 2nd number anywhere.

Me (F24) and my family (mom and little sister) moved into a new house a week ago. Some things have been damaged and it's been a huge mess.
Last Friday Mom and Little Sis went to a friend's house and I stayed in to organize some of my stuff. By the end of the night I started to notice a strong smell of gas (we're Brazilians, most stoves are gas stoves in here) and I realized there was a gas leak. I tried to fix it but only ended up making it worse. So I messaged my mom to ask for instructions and she contacted the landlady (we're renting and the owners live on the same street). By the time the landlady got here I had already inhaled a lot of gas and was starting to feel mentally confused. She was very kind and helpful, and managed to stop the leak, but at this point I was already intoxicated.
Yesterday Mom and Little Sister came back home and didn't seem to notice much. The problem is, I was so confused that I couldn't realize that I was, in fact, confused. I could only notice how tense and nervous I was, and how much everyone seemed to be acting weird (in my pov). My mom did say at some point that I seemed to be tense, but didn't ask anything. As someone with Anxiety Disorder I'm pretty used to feeling panickeded for no specific reason, so I didn't mind it much.
By the end of the night I took an alcoholic beverage to try to calm a bit and not annoy my family too much with my anxiety. But another problem is, I'm not used to drinking and it only made everything worse, and I got extremely confused by everything. My mom seemed to notice it but didn't ask anything, again. We all got ready to sleep and said our goodnights. Before falling asleep I sent a very confused message to my psychiatrist, (who's been caring for me for over 6 years now and who I trust a lot), telling her about the gas leak and how everything felt weird and wrong.
Today she called me and, seeing how I was still a bit out of it, instructed me to go to the city's emergency. My mom didn't like the idea and was strongly against it, going as far as saying we don't have money to be taking an Uber for "no reason", and got even angrier after my doctor calling and trying to reason with her. We had a huge fight and my mom is blaming me for being "aggressive". My poor little sister saw everything and I can only hope she won't be too traumatized by this.
It's been hours that I'm locked in my room, I didn't eat anything today, and everything feels wrong. It feels like I've been hit by a train while drunk.
I'm supposed to be a competent adult yet I'm locked in my room, living with my problematic mom and feeling like a child for not being taken seriously for having a gas poisoning. Days like this make me wish I was never born at all.
I don't have anyone to talk about this, so I'm posting here just to vent, I guess. I'm already feeling less confused, at least.

A few years ago I helped my mother buy my dad out of their home. The house today is probably worth around 1.2 million with a remaining 500k mortgage. I'm currently on title and the home is a legal duplex so we rent out the basement to cover 80% of the mortgage cost. For the past few years I have had to claim half the rental income as my own and have paid taxes on it. My current salary is about 130k. I lost out on first time home buyers, and I wont be able to contribute to a HSFA. Is it worth it for me to transfer my 50 percent to my mother so she owns the full thing and then in 4 years ill be able to contribute to a HSFA and take advantage of First Time Home Buyers or is the equity I have on the house worth way more then that and I'll be better for getting a mortgage down the line?
