I'm a hobbyist that has been looking into asset libraries to spend less time modelling and more time composing renders, but I am confused given all the options out there. Do you all have any preferences or knowledge of those on the market? Is there a general consensus on what add-ons/libraries are best, most popular, or give you the best value?
If relevant, I am mostly interested in smaller-scale subjects like gardens and rooms rather than vast forests, mountains, or cityscapes.
The add-ons I've been looking into are:
Botany:

• Botaniq - Best bang for buck(?), covers wider range
• Tree Vegetation/GrassBlade - More expensive but more specialized(?)

Archviz/Interior Design:

• 5003 Interior Models - More Assets
• Interior Essentials 2022 - Assets Customizable via plug-in

Since this is just a hobby, I am hoping to only purchase one for botany and one for archviz if possible. Also, are there any free alternatives out there that I should be aware of?

Hi everyone :) I’m starting at McMaster this fall and looking into these 2 buildings, most of the reviews I saw on this subreddit are 1-2 years old so I was hoping for some recent feedback? Some of my main concerns are safety and if the residents/pets are noisy to an extreme level like constant noise/barking all day. I don’t mind street noise. It’s my first time moving out so advice would also be appreciated :) Thank you :) Edit: Apologies if this is the wrong subreddit!

I was laid off early April (4/10) and started receiving benefits shortly after. I registered for PA Careerlink immediately, but due to accidentally having two accounts it flagged me as not registering within 30 days, so I was disqualified for two weeks. I spoke to someone at my local Careerlink center and got it sorted, and completed my RESEA stuff. No big deal, that was on me and I’m not contesting the disqualified weeks.
My issue is that when I called unemployment to ask when my disqualification would end, as at first I thought the disqualification was permanent, they forced me to fill out a new claim for a temp job and a freelance editing gig I accepted at the beginning of May. I worked the temp job for a total of 40 hours and the freelance job a total of 10. I have been searching for work since the beginning of April and according to PA unemployment benefit rules, I had to take any and all positions that were offered to me, so I accepted both. It wasn’t until after I got off the phone with the rep that I realized my claim was back in review and I had a new open issue. Apparently, because I worked as a freelance editor, the system flagged my claim and forced it to be viewed by a judiciary committee because you cannot receive unemployment benefits as an independent contractor.
My claim is still in review, stuck on level 3, and I’m now going on almost a month without benefits. My savings is almost entirely drained and I would start Doordashing or something, but I’m terrified I’ll mess up my claim even more. I am planning to call tomorrow to see if they can expedite the review of my claim, but just how fucked am I? I know I messed up, but I was under the impression I had to take ANY job that was offered to me, so I happily accepted the freelance editing position. If I had known it would mess up my claim I would have never done it.
Please be kind. I know I messed up, I know I should have read the handbook more carefully, and I know how badly I’ve handled all of this, but I am desperate for advice.

Hi. I'm looking to talk to new people, maybe make a friend
They are:
History, especially the 19th-20th century but with more broad and general knowedge in other time periods. I'm not an expert or anything but I am pretty passionate about it and tend to read/listen about one event or the other on a pretty regular basis.
Literature, especially old novels. I recently read Demian (my all time favourite book), Day of the Oprichnik, Heart of Darkness, the Perfume and Little Prince. Some of my other favourite works would include: "The Picture of Dorian Gray", "Faust part I" (need to get to part II) and "No Longer Human". I also like to write short stories and book reviews. I'd also really like to read the same book with someone and discuss it. I just started reading Grimm's fairy tales.
Languages. I know three, with one being a bit rusty. I'm currently working to scrape off the rust and then when I'm finished with that will begin to learn a fourth language. It's fun to go through different works in multiple languages. For example, I read the aforementioned Faust part I in all three.
Games. I recently played Cyberpunk 2077. Now that the dust has settled and the bugs mostly removed...It's not that bad! The main questline at least, Fallout 76 (Very average, I'm dissapointed with what they made the "RPG" system) and will try out Deus Ex Manking Divided again ( Got inspired since it's somewhat similar to Cyberpunk). I was waiting to play Elden Ring but it ended being too stressful for me. Go here and get beaten up go there and get beaten up, repeat...Besides that I'm a big fan of Paradox strategy games...like EU IV and HoI IV (also thinking of making my own project for HoI IV). I am definitely looking forward to try out Victoria III, after they add more content to it. I also got Modern Warfare 2, since the first MW had great multiplayer gameplay.
Anime and Manga. In recent times my interest has waned but I still watch the occasional series here and there. Like Cyberpunk Edgerunners (Which I found to be rather mediocre) and the very good new season of Bleach. Some other favourites include: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Death Note, Fate;Zero, Psycho Pass , Higurashi (season 2 is a bit weak but the first one is a masterpiece of horror), Code Geass, Attack on Titan and others. My favourite Manga is Berserk...I hope it gets a good ending..the first couple of new chapters were...a bit rough but the new author seems to have got his footing.
Anyway, that should be enough information to give you a good picture... Before I go, I would like to ask for you to include the title of the last book you read in your reply. A small request, I feel. I'll be ignoring those that don't.

Apparel section is the biggest blind spot in most stores, especially anywhere near the fitting room. Also the security wires that are around most of the electronics only go off when they are cut, not when you go through the doors. we have had multiple people walk out with TV’s, laptops, etc… because they don’t set the alarms off whenever you walk out. Also, if an employee asks to check your receipt, they can’t do anything if you decide to ignore them and keep walking. We are told in the training videos that we have to just let you go if you refuse to show proof of purchase. Also, best way to exit the store is through the lawn and garden exit doors if your store has them. There’s usually just one person at the register if not nobody at all. It’s very easy to just walk out. If the doors are locked there’s usually a set of switches in the middle when will let you out. or push on the doors. You’re welcome

I started to watch this channel after I was released from a 6 week stay in intensive care. I was drawn in because I love Portugal and the idea of buying a derilict farm and bringing it back to life seems wonderful to me.
Anyway, real couple that have spent the last year doing many projects, building many things from scratch, planted a garden, cleared land, raised one small child and gave birth to another and not once have they said anything negative about anyone or left a project unfinished. A few from me:
I Don’t Trust Myself with Loving You - one of the most beautiful versions of any song he did on the tour in Sacramento.
Vultures - if you didn’t hear the snippet he did in the Chicago show, do yourself a favor and find it. Impromptu groove that was amongst the best versions of any song where the acoustic version breathed new life into it.
Ripple - If he is to any Dead song, I hope this is it. Do yourself a favor and check out the Minneapolis show where he played this. No idea why he only played ripple once. Blows Friend of the Devil out of the water for me.
Assassin - Version he played in Cleveland with the long lead in where you don’t know what song it was about to be was terrific.
Gravity - Pittsburgh closer with a loop and gorgeous solo.
